One day we will be able to have USB teleporters and have packages delivered straight to our computers.

Imagine, ordering something from Amazon and have it teleported directly to you in no time!

DLing pizza to your house at 320Mbp!

But the question is how much Pizza are you getting per Megabyte? What if I want to eat it as it downloads!

Or is it a torrent so you'll get like mushrooms, some cheese, crust, and other random stuff in the wrong order?

due to the method in which packets travel, you'll have to wait until the entire thing is downloaded. Though you could stream it with UDP, there's a chance some might teleport off to someone elses 'porter or be completely lost.

So you'd get your pizza, but it'd be missing sections.

And you guys with your copywrite hax and roms would be hacking free stuffs.

Probably work 50% of the time though and just get skipping Discs and CD's and pizza without cheese or sauce.

What about the other half of the time? Would you get scratched CDs and pizza that tastes crappy?

It would work but it would still be like a B-Grade/Slightly irregular and without the manuals and instructions and be covered in fingerprint smudges since it was shared all over the internets.

;o

UDP, while called unreliable isn't most of the time. Streaming video and Voice over IP use it. The reason it's called unreliable is it doesn't check to see if a packet made it through. TCP, however, does perform error checking and will resend missed/dropped/lost packets.

Dear god, is that the one where whenever you talk to the pizza store owner he ALWAYS sends you to deliver another frickin' pizza to so and so on the other end of the town, no matter if you've already successfully delivered it or not? I hated that.

I only delivered the pizzas once, there was no real reward for it.
