Your first S rank/decent find

I'm on PS2, and was afk during the whole haxeta deal when everybody was selling stuff and making huge profits, so I'm pretty much broke. (3.3 mil currently, the most I've ever had)I've been hunting S and S2 missions solo, hoping to find something decent enough to sell so I can get that dark Crea Doubles I've been trying to get since they released LL S. I must be doing something wrong, as I have yet to see any good drops. Just a load of synth materials that either have no use currently or no one wants.

So tell me, what was your first decent find, and what level were you? At level 64, I don't think my pallete should consist of B and lower A ranks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

[B] Hirokuteri at lvl 90...I'd been hunting stuff since february toowith no results and this thing drops for me in like...4 days...so I was pretty juiced.


I had to switch from GT to FT to use it of course and had to raise my FT lvl to 9 to be able to equip it. it was a long road and its getting longer.

Um, Urasana at, um, 67 was it? It was the second S rank drop I've seen, first I've got. Traded for a skill save (<3).
I got a Sori Force considerably earlier, but by luck. At 81, I got my first usable S rank though a trade, and at 79, I got a few Gudda Skelas (Three Gudda Skelas. Two broke.).

20% Fuka Misaki. That thing was horrible lookin so I traded it for some high % Gudda Gants. Now I'm workin to synth my 7th S rank if I ever get 17 more Ortapolymer.

It's terribly frustrating, I only have time to play a couple of hours at a time, and not every day. If it wasn't so hard to get meseta, or the A rank double sabers didn't look like kayak paddles, I'd be much happier. pffft thats not broke. You just need to know what shops to go to. It's easy enough to survive with small amount of money anyway. I've been living on less then 400K for 2 month though and still buys some weapons, etc.

Read my post. It may be enough to "live on", but it won't buy a Crea Doubles, the one and only thing I want. Actually I did see an ice Doubles for 3mil, once, a few months ago. I found the two headed ragnus the first day it came out. It turned out 10% lol and I was offered 10 million for it. I ended up trading it for a sweetdeath 16% ice and made 4.5 million off it in the end. Bad bussiness decision by me in the long run....

First "HOMG" rare was a Relic Edge during a SW solo. I think I was level 24. I remember flipping out on vent cuz it was 11*. XD

First S rank EARNED was my Halp at level 74 after 3 weeks of LL Rappy hunting. Got it on April 6th. One week before Easter Rappies were removed. That was going to be my final day of hunting, too. <_<

I feel the same way. I have about 2mil, but it isn't enough for anything on the PS2/PC servers. Its not enough to synth or grind in bulk to start making money either.
I've got a friend's {B}Bajiline, but its basically useless because we cant trade it for anything, and i know if we ever get the materials to make it, it will fail.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. Contrary to what everyone says, I think things like Famitsu, higher drops rates, and more meseta would help the economy a bit, by forcing people to sell things at decent prices, or at least making meseta less valuable because more people have it. As it is there are people who have a lot of meseta for whatever reason, and then there are people who haven't been playing as long or are just unlucky and have less. The former group can get whatever they want, but often still trade and sell at high rates, so the second group can't catch a break.

The other day I saw an ad in a player shop for three Crea Doubles. The ad said to mail offers to the owner, who was idling in the shop. I went and asked what the value for one was, and he said he wanted S rank boards and A rank units. I looked at his status, and he had several million meseta, and a number of S rank weapons and high-rarity units, and he was at least ten levels below me. Now obviously there's nothing wrong with wanting to trade something for what it's really worth, but it was still frustrating to me that people will so rarely let something go for less to help out someone else :/

And I'm level 88 and have done countless runs in plenty of areas. I'm hoping that S2 ibeing treated as PSU's "Very Hard mode" and S3+ in AOI will be "Ultimate" with more common Srank drops.

You can buy them at the NPC shop, so you'd have to sell them for less than that.

People are just stingy. I try to keep all things I sell at reasonable prices. BTW, since I kinda took a 6 month hiatus from the game a while back, and just reciently renewed my account, what made all the photon prices skyrocket? I haven't been able to find Ray's for anything under 20k, I swear.

First S-rank I found was a Sweet Death board as a level 80/10 Fortegunner. This was a few weeks after Mad Beasts S2 was released. Days later, I found another one. Cute weapon http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif, but since they came out as a low %, I traded them off. Gonna go find another one someday.

my first big drop was [B} HIRAGI-SENBA at level 45.

I know it seems hard to get these, but if you find a good mission that things will drop on, just keep doing it untill you get something, thats what I did and hey I got 1mil out of my first board.

that's BS. some people run missions that say one of your friends gets lucky one and never see anything drop in 300 runs. its all luck based and I really get the feeling there are hidden section IDs or something.

im a lvl.90and the first s-rank ive got was the [B]bajiline and had to sell it for only 1mil because all of those undercutter...but anyway after that i found the [B] Stormline and made a 24% fire 1,thanx to my friend infamous risker a.k.a xxdeparted....thats all,but ive seen the [B] svaltus drop...but didnt get it..=(
