Wow, look what I found in someone's shop!

I think it's an actual drop from one of the new missions. What kind of enemy drops axes...?

"Oooh, -10% PA damage," who gives a fuck? They take 50 milliseconds longer to die?

The funny thing is, they'll deny it now.

Mil sec ?,
Don't you see how much is the different solo time between ppl who care damage and ppl who not?
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=150204&forum=20

it is not "30 ms" as what you said, it is "many sec" per 1 enemy,
and a whole run = slow many min
and many runs slow many hours
( you might not know, but as rare hunter, we hunt solo in the same mission more than hundreds runs)
the faster run = the faster get rare,

but nvm you, you just play your style, I play my style! this should end.
because different people alway have different idea.
and no1 has right to change it.

That's only PA damage, and the ATP on it will more than make up the difference.

No! For the love of god, don't grind it until AoI, not to mention that the base stats already rape an ank pikor +10.

You should do the math right

Unless you don't have the two weapons that you can compare then I'll give you a few facts

your better off with a higher % ank pikor -.-

Just like a Twin bear claw 50% Vs a 50% Ran misaski

Only in normal attack, The twin bear claw will outdmg it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

The 50% Ran misaski will do more in PA damage, all though not by far by like 10-20

At least what I've experienced

and that will be the same on the axe -.-

50% Ank pikor VS 37% Ank pico

in normal damage yes maybe thE Ank pico will win

But in PA damage

Not really -.-

And thats why most kubara fails <.< until grinded -.-

It is a great axe though -,-

Regardless of what this axe looks like on paper it should be noted that it's not what it appears.

What I mean is the axe has the potential of a 1500 ATP axe. BUT, it's got a bit of a quirk. It doesn't always swing like a 1500 ATP axe.
It should have been said somewhere that it COULD hit with the power of a 1500,but could just as well swing like a 800 ATP axe.

What does this mean?

Hikaru just got one a little while ago,and while using it he noticed the damage is for the most part random. (Screens to come.)
Examples being hitting for 300 in the first hit of Redda, then only 100 in the next hit.
He's even hit as low as 67 points of damage.
(I've seen him break 1000's with it.)

Again,it's power could be anywhere from 0 - 1500
Since the damage isn't reliable at all,you really can't compare it to a good ol' pikor. Still,it's got a funny sound to it,causes confuse, and every once in a while hits like a dumptruck.

Sometimes.

Yeah, Ein is right.

Here's a pic of me using it.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/SRPanado87/psu20070811_185922_003.jpg

As you can see, I'm using Anga Redda on two normal badiras. Notice the significant difference between the two?

Kubara weapon or not, this does NOT function like a normal weapon, and it follows its own rules.

So, for those of you that are even ARGUING about the power of this weapon, don't waste your time. This is the weapon, and what it's capable of.

Still, though. I'm not one to complain. I love this weapon, and the cute sound it makes. XD

Wait, so your saying because A normal weapon's pa will do 10-20 more dmg than a kubara weapon, the normal weapon is better? > > what happened to "Ohhh, a 10-20 dmg boost isn't significant!" Besides, most kubara weapons have better pp than normal weapons I think, so really how does 10 extra dmg make the normal weapon better? BTW Im not talking about the toy axe

Mayu
Aug 11, 2007, 07:57 AM
Lol..

I compared it with a 50 vs 50 hence how the damage will be close, If my bear claw was lower

It wouldn't be 10-20 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif more like into 100s or the Kubara weapon it self

but your right most kubara have a lot of PP to make up for it -.-

The difference will be 10-20 damage?

Am I the only one finding this really flawed and retarded to hear that, "Kubara is only for collecting purposes"?

Now, for this weapon it makes sense. Frankly, I'd love the variable attack, if the thing didn't look like sin reincarnated.

Aug 11, 2007, 08:02 AM
Well, tested out my Bico and the damage can be very random at times, I'm talking hitting 2 Delsabans at Unsafe Passage A, 1 for 1000 and the other for 300. o.o
Still a strong weapon and looks cool in my opinion.

PMB960
Aug 11, 2007, 08:03 AM
If you remember the original Toy Hammer though the massive variation of damage makes sense. The original Toy Hammer had a variable ATP of +1-400 so it makes sense that they kept it for the new version.

*nods* It's interesting to see a return to PSO's variable ATP weapons. That'll spark a ton of debate/controversy/flaming, I'm sure.

And my god, I must get one of these. Not for the looks, or it's potential as a super high-end axe, or as a collectors item, but because my Protranser will be able to use it eons before any axe. ATP req is 200! 200! *Protransergasm*

Everything little thing on this forum sparks that kind of bullshit anyways. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

On topic, I'm pretty happy at the fact that it comes with an element (not that it matters, cause of the random damage it does http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif), rather than the ugly-ass green. Heh... >.>

While the range in damage does make me go "er, wtf?" at times, I do like the Confuse effect very much; it'd be useful on the deljabans in HIVE. Though I'm not sure if I'd rather just keep on using Bogga Zubba like I have been.
