Well as a Human, you don't suck or excell at any job. Just try them both and see which you like better.

Well, they're very different classes. It seems to me though, that in the process of getting your Force prerequisite for protranser, you'll see if you'd prefer to be a fT instead.

PT is the most expensive class to be. FT has nothing on it.

Experiment and read up on gameplay guides on each class. Hell, even try wandering in the class specific forums over at http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com forums. You can get a bit of a feel from discussion there.
