View Full Version : Finding a replacement for PSOBB...

...has never been so goddamned ridiculously difficult. Every other game pisses me off, some how (Gunbound -- WIND. THAT FUCKING WIND) or can't keep my attention for long (Gunz, PSU). Or, I just can't freakin' pay for them, flat out (i.e. almost every game available).

Fucking Sonic Team just HAD to make a nearly perfect game, then replace it with something less epic. Goddammit.

Try Soldat, it's really fun once you get playing. Only reason i'm not playing it is because I couldn't play it for some stupid reason after they updated it to 4.0.

http://www.soldat.pl/main.php
(It got a 9.8 score from Gamespot)

Oddly enough, I'm already done with Pokemon Diamond. The online aspect was neat, but I just got bored of it after about 300+ hours and over 500 online connections.

Luckily, I figured out that, by having the event Pokemon that I have, I can sell my copy on eBay for about $60 or $70. Huzzah for JAA Pokemon and the movie Darkrai~

Dealing with the other games, I've never heard of them (except for Drift, but that's down). Either that, or I'm just too lazy to research them to see what they're about.

Basing my judgment off of what you guys said about Lunia in another thread, I was a little hesitant to download it, but I did. And I can't even play it due to a glitch that won't even let me start up the game itself.

Lunia now fits in the "games that piss me off somehow" category.

I've already had my fill of army games and firearms due to the excessive weaponry in Call of Duty 3 and Gunbound.

Neopets~~Not gonna happen. Ever.

Moparscape~~I saw an example of it on Youtube. All I can say about it "No."

He said Runescape before he HAS to be joking.
Also, wtf is wrong with Soldat? You don't want to play it because it has guns?

No, I'm just tired of military / war games for now (which is exactly what it looks like). I'm not saying anything's wrong with it, I'd just not rather play it for now.

That's kind of a stupid reason, it is incredibly addicting (to me at least). You may not try it now but if your seriously bored it's best you try this out.

I know, Jay, I'm just very freakin' fickle when it comes to games. I don't even know why.

No, I haven't tried Maple Story, but from what I heard before quitting PSU, it was hacked to high hell.

That game is a giant grind covered up in kawaii.

And the hacks were pretty funny. Well inconvient also.

Like this one time where all the weak monsters on a channel were killed. So I could walk through to Jr.Balrog.

And another where I could see monsters getting sucked into the air to another location.

PhotonDrop

Honestly it's not that bad. The grind is a pain in the ass but it is still fun overall.

I had fun when I played it. Though the grind killed it for me. Espically if your were trying to become a Bandit http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Every time you hit something a Magician would come in and Magic Claw everything to death in front of me. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gifispprove:

I just like this one time a Warrior and Magician(high lvled) came in and killed everything in front of me and said "Your welcome" and walked off. I got +1 exp http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Though if you stay away from jerks you can have some fun on there. Just alot of grinding. x_X

I redownload it from time to time

I've been hooked on Monster Hunter recently myself. It's offline is crappy but online is pretty addicting once you get into it. It's pretty cheap to boot, only about 15 bucks or so if you can find it, mine didn't have an instruction booklet so I had to get a lot of help from a PSU friend.

well, I got his Lunia working for him and started him off. Have to see how he likes it in a few days.

Picross must be purchased in order to play. Due to the fact that I'm gonna be at my mother's for a LONG while now, I won't have a chance in hell to either obtain the money to buy the game, nor will I even be near any stores that sell video games.

This also means, Sord, that I won't be able to play Lunia. Not only does dial-up suck, the only computer available ain't mine. If I download anything, I'm flat-out fucked.

Now I'm stuck watching Snakes on a Plane and Jackass 2 for two weeks straight. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

If your looking for a game to play without download... you could try and beat Super Smash Flash. Only complaint about this game is the major lag on 1 of the adventure mode levels.

Thanks for the help, Jay.
Now to see how long it'll take to load on dial-up. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif
