-More weapons and types
-PSO outfits, areas and weapons
-Revamped shop searching system
-Higher lvl cap
-More classes/improvements on current classes
-A casino
-Better synth rates

Oh wait.....we are getting all that XD I'm pretty good with what we're getting. My only real wish that we aren't getting to my knowledge

-Increased (only slightly) drop rates for S-ranks or having other options to get S-ranks but not as good as the ones you synth yourself.

Love,

I would like to see scythes at some point. Also, dual mechguns and a laser cannon that is actually worth using would be nice.

Here's an idea for a class too:

AcroGunner
Prerequisites: Ranger 6, Hunter 2

S-Ranks:
Twin Handguns
Twin Dagger
Dagger
Machinegun
Pistol

A-Ranks:
Saber
Twin Saber
Double Saber
Rifle
Grenade Launcher

PAs:
Striking 30
Ranged 30
Attack Tech 0
Support Tech 0

Traps:
Virus Trap
Damage Trap
Virus Trap G
Damage Trap G
Virus Trap EX
Damage Trap EX

AcroGunners get a 10% damage increase when using the Twin Pistols and Twin Daggers. Acrogunners also get a 50% reduction in PP cost for the Single Pistol.

At Class level 10 they would have the following modifiers:

HP 100%
ATP 125%
ATA 140%
DFP 130%
EVP 125%
TP 50%
MST 50%
STA 110%

As A human at level 10 they would have the following modifiers:
HP 100%
ATP 130%
ATA 150%
DFP 132%
EVP 130%
TP 55%
MST 60%
STA 110%

What does everyone think about this class?

To let people into your shop without seeing all the stuff you have up in your room?

Sometimes you may not want someone to see your decor.

As far as its usefulness...well, maybe with the expanded rooms in AOI you don't want people playing with your interactive stuff instead of buying things in your shop. Personally, I could care less about it.

More animalistic/demonic looking Newmen (As opposed to the prissy elves we have now), clothing suited for battle, a substitute weapon for handguns that fFs can use that look less out of place (aimable and controlable shadoogs, or wrist mounted cannons via Megaman), a more fluid style of combat for Wartecher (S rank madoogs, S wank sabers), longer female hair (going down to the waist, at least), helmets being compatible with faces, and hair being compatible with masks for casts, Partisans, one handed spears, shields, more aquatic areas to take pictures in, enough aquatic room decorations to make my room look like an aquatic cave...

There's something to hide...? Like...NOTHING!? Perhaps to hide the shame of owning all Linear Line decors.

- two different types of hair colors
- wield more than one element
-To have pets in your room *Maybe a chao*
-to be able to add own colors & logos to bought clothes
-take off what the armor can hold *Like Head, Arm, Body, Extra* & give pso style armor back. *Along with add slots*

So you're saying you want S rank Madoogs to remedy this? Alright, enjoy your waste of a palette/inventory space and nonexistant techs.

Even having A/S rank Shadoogs wouldn't make sense though...there's a reason Fortefighters can't do status effects, and it's because they're supposed to be the masters of melee combat. If you want to inflict SE, be a class that is designed to do that...there are plenty. In fact, basically every class except Fortefighter can inflict SE fairly well.

More 4 slotted armor! Not only that, but like in the PSO days, we should be able to hunt different armor with say different elemental %. I think it would be sweet if they could give us armor that had the head, arm, extra, and body slots all in one instead of just say Sori-senba for example. Hunting for variable armor would be sweet, and I believe for example how the Har-senba has head and body slots, why not be able to go on a battle field and be able to hunt a Har-senba with maybe even the extra slot with head and body, or getting that rare 4 slotted one? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Heck, even find one with only the head, or a head and extra slot...you get the idea. I believe hunting armor this way would be cool again like it was in PSO. I believe also that this would help the shop economy if you had a great amount of armors that people could equip if you were lucky to find those nice 4 slotted armors.

I think it's disappointing that PSU hasn't given us opportunities like this reason to do what us rare hunters liked doing...I say this because armors drop very rarely, if at all, and I say this...for example, on C runs, instead of being able to find 500 million Wencelines, how about changing that to armor that varies, whether it's 1 slot, 2, 3, or 4. (I'll give the benefit of the doubt 4 slotted would be rare, but not damn near impossible to find...PSO did that well.) or even variable weapon finds with different elemental %. Weapons as you can tell is comparable to this wishlist here, lol. I really don't think something like Add slots would be neccessary, that would make this logic too easy to me. Let peeps find the armor is what I say.

Sorry about this long list, and I apologize for the "PSU should be PSO 2" comparison. I just think this logic would be neat. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I doubt this is going to happen, but it'd be great if it were inplemented into a newer phantasy star game. I think players should be able to choose their attack styles with weapons. How you hold the weapon, swing it, etc. Something like that would really do a great job in making characters more unique. Because the only thing right now that really separates characters are classes, clothing and weapons. With the same exp and class level, your stats will be exactly the same just about if you're the same race. More differences = better!

I'd like to buy PM food in a store...

I'd like my PM food to do something other then raise striking and tech...

And the guy above me is right... Fix the drop rates so that there's some variety... It's ashame that I had more variety in drops with my Redria Humar (lolDiskaOfBraveman... Yeah, I crammed that altogether) then I do without my cursed sector I.D. I understand that they wanted synthing to be a major part of how you get your items... But it'd really be nice to be able to find weapons, armor, and units more often.

Get rid of waiting on Synthesis results. It's just annoying.

Of course, I can do with just what we're getting... But since it's a wish list thread, I'm gonna wish dammit.

PS: Oh yeah... Get rid of the ugly looking traffic in the skies of Neudaiz and Parum haha.

Hm, interesting. But honestly, I'd much rather them fix the classes. It's a pretty nice system now, but the problem is that mission points are far too easy to obtain (thus making specializations and stuff pretty non-existent). If classes were harder to level, then it would force people to decide WHAT they wanna be, rather than letting them be all over the place. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif But yeah, if more custom things were given to each class, that would be cool too.

Ah,I remember when CB was the best way to get advanced classes levelled. In fact,I remember dragging my way through run after run after run of VoC C for quick mp's before Bruce's Dungeon. I was so hyped about capping PT in the last week of firebreak because I'd worked hard before the event to get halfway through PT7.

2.That's what the objectives are in a ton of online games. At least it's not as bad as Maplestory with their "Kill 999 of this enemy b/c we said so" Even in PSO there really weren't objectives besides "Go here and explore...you'll figure it out"

I want a bigger variety of missions, and some that are only accessible to higher level players. Something unique (ala Bruce) that's difficult and gives something like frags that you can exchange for exclusive equipment. I'd also like to see a Battlestaff-esque weapon type, with melee and casting abilities. WTs need it, and I don't even play the class. So they get S rank wands, yay. I totally agree with alot of your post, especially those in bold. It's tough to catch a warrior like a samurai[well, maybe some of them used tanegashimas, but still], knight, spartan, ninja, or a viking or something using a pistol, so I agree with you. I thought crossbows would be cool on fighters though, and maybe longbows.

For the long hair thing though, I would like it for BOTH sexes. It would be awesome if girls had waist length hair, but I would love my my human to have hair that long too.

Maybe S rank madoogs and sabers [actually, I'd prefer claws or spears] would be cool on Wartecher, but lets face it, we'll never even get an S rank weapon anyway, so it wouldn't matter too much.

For me, I would say bring medieval weapons of all types, even if they're just photon renditions of medieval weapons. But yeah, I want my Twin Katanas, and if you're using a Shadoog, Madoog, or nothing at all in your off-hand, you should have two-handed swings with single sabers, and then they can make Twin and Single Sabers shaped like Katanas.

Kaydin

S-rank Mags for Wartechers would be awesome, but S-rank Sabers I could do without. I'd much rather have S-rank Spears and Claws. I still don't understand why Sega gave us S-rank daggers, of all things. S-rank wands is nice though.

There should be a difference between left-hand weapons and off-hand weapons, to let us use two-handed weapons and a Madoog at the same time. Let us swing a spear around and have a Madoog behind us with Gibarta. This would make it much easier to combo spells and attacks (like a good Wartecher should do if you ask me), such as freezing with Gibarta and then using Dus Robado, rather than switching between them and waiting for your spells to load each time. Madoogs have pretty low PP anyways, so it's not really breaking anything. You'd run out of PP pretty fast if you did this a lot. If you ask me, that's how Wartecher should be. Old-school melee force ftw.

And Shadoogs. Fighgunners get Shadoogs. If a Fighgunner wanted to use his Shadoog, he'd be forced to either use a Saber, Dagger, or Claw. He wouldn't be able to use the two-weapons a Fighgunner is much more suited for while using the Shadoog. I think I'd be much better if they could use the Shadoogs along side their Twin weapons. All Shadoogs really do is apply SE's from what I've read (correct me if I'm wrong here), and hunters really need a way to apply SE's, even if they're kinda low.
Fortefighters should get Shadoogs too, and use them in the same way. Shadoog + Axe = Win.

Fortegunners get Shadoogs too. This makes the way Shadoogs are used look even dumber in my opinion. All of the Fortegunner's weapons are either two-handed or left-handed. I'd be awesome if they could use Shadoogs and Grenade Launchers at the same time or something, but they can't. Not even a Shadoog + Handgun. Fortegunners looking to use Shadoogs would have to have a Saber/Dagger in their right hand, and most Fortegunners don't carry melee weapons. And any Fortegunner who weilds only a Shadoog and runs in circles while the Shadoog shoots is a nub. =/

Gawd.........I swear to god theres been a billion topics like these over the past month and I replied to all of them. This time, I'm just posting things I forgot.....

1. When buffs are applied, let me see what my atp/dfp/evp/mst is on the equipment or status menus. I don't care is people tell me 500000%, I wanna see what it is.
2. Make the game harder. Just give us Ruins and Seabed from PSO and that should do it.
3. Let us do something other than run x mission all the time. Unless you're goin to mix it up Sega.
4. Better support............oh wait, thats asking for TOO MUCH >,>.
5. Release during Thanksgiving so I can actually find the damn game in my hometown. Or you could make it downloadable for PC users which you will never do anyways.
6. Make playing ranger more enjoyable instead of boring (oh wait, thats just me).
7. Gib forces lvl 50 technics buhaha.
8. Release during x-mas time when I have time to play a ton.
9. Continue to give casts fugly cast parts, you do have a knack at that http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

I don't want this, but I had this idea that relates to how some people want Newmans and humans to have special abilities: Give Newmans the ability to use Photon Seals like Karen has in Story mode. I mean the story has the basis for it to be applied right? Though of course in the story mode it says that they are forbidden to use, but they can imbed powerful healing or attack TECHs into them. Just a thought.

As to what I want in AoI that hasn't been announced yet is a Techer class with mild gunner influence in it, as opposed to Guntecher, which is a Gunner with Techs. And a Melee attack for casting weapons and guns, I mean why should these weapons become useless when they run out of PP, when a Fighter can keep going with the same weapon even when it is out of PP?

I didnt get to read the entire tpic so i dont know if these were mentioned

How about quests that span more than one mission or planet?
or how about a rare merchant spawn that appears in the lobby after you complete a mission
that would give you a reason to travel then when you find him you can let your friends know
and maybe this merchant would sell stuff you couldnt get anywhere else. like weapons or
those elemental photons
and I would totally love to have that evade roll ^_^

- Reliable S-rank drop rates. Not easy....but not nearly impossible!

- Change proportion (ever heard of the gym?)

- Better missions (like other people have stated...escort missions, timed missions, puzzles, minigames)

- Better CAST parts. The guide says CASTs can strute a sleek look....yet the only "sleek" look for CAST (Males) are the hounds parts. Sorry, I don't like being a friggin' refrigerator...thats why I didnt play CAST in PSO.

- Stat Materials (like in PSO). I like having individual stats, I don't like running around with the same stats as another CAST guntecher.

- Bonuses to race/jobs that need it.

For example, Beasts should get a slight bonus for ata in Ranger classes, due to their low ata (not saying to make it better than Human, Newman, or CAST by any means). Newmans should get a slight bonuses for atp in hunter classes (to make up for their terrible atp). And CASTs should get a TP boost for techer classes. But humans should get bigger bonuses for HP, DFP, EVP, and MST. Or just do SOMETHING so no race/job combination sucks total donkey balls.

- Race only weapons.

CAST Rod anyone? Newman Claw (Nei's Claw)? Beast grenade launcher? Human.....*insert something here*?

- Keep special abilities to Beasts and CASTs.

- S Ranks that drop without having to be synthed.
- Second PAs on melee/ranged weapons.
- Different attack animations for race/class.
- HUMAN AND NEWMAN SPECIAL ATTACKS.
- More weapon types (actually had an idea for katana, make it "iai-style" by having just a hilt and small sheath until they draw and swing it, then the blade comes out)
- If no second PA gets added to melee, then light/heavy attack a la PSO but with actual different animation for each type.
- With said light/heavy attack have different "combo" animations that come out depending the sequence.

....Oh yeah...

- Lavis Cannon.

Had to throw it in there.

When i was playing one day on psu i thought it would be cool if we had 2 more spell types. wind and sheild. i thought "Shio" would be nice for the sheild spells but i cant think of a name for the wind spells. i already made descriptions for all the spells so all i need is a base name for the wind spells. here are the descriptions:

Shio- blocks attacks for set amount of time

Shio- lvl 1-10- small wall of light tall as koltova lasts for 5 sec
lvl 11-20- medium wall if light tall as vahra lasts for 10 sec
lvl 21- large wall of light tall as kamatoze damages enemies that come in contact and lasts for 15 sec

Rashio- lvl 1-10- curtain of light surrounds nearby allies for 15 sec
lvl 11-20- curtain of light surrounds visible allies for 20 sec
lvl 21- curtain of light surrounds all allies in block for 30 sec and damages enemies that come in contact

Gishio- lvl 1-10- surrounds user with curtain of light that lasts for 20 sec
lvl 11-20- surrounds user with curtain of light that lasts for 30 sec
lvl 21- surrounds user with curtain of light that lasts 45 sec and damages enemies that come in contact.

Wind spells- effects buffed and shield enemies by going through armor.

basic- lvl 1-10- small blast of greenish air that peirces and scaters groups of small enemies.
lvl 11-20- medium blast of bluish air that peirces and scatters groups of medium size enemies
lvl 21- large blast of air that peirces and scatters large enemies and minibosses and paralizes them

Ra- lvl 1-10- small explosion of greenish air that scatters small far away enemies.
lvl 11-20- medium explosion of bluish air that scatters medium far away enemies
lvl 21- large explosion of dark redish air that hurtles large enemies and minibosses into the air paralizing them.

Gi- lvl 1-10- small greenish burst of air emitted by the user that scatters and flinches small nearby enemies.
lvl 11-20- medium bluish burst of air emitted by the user that scatters and flinches medium nearby enemies.
lvl 21- large dark redish burst of air emitted by the user that scaters and paralyzes nearby large enemies.

Hope you guys have some ideas for names for me.
Thankyou

Once Regrant is released on our side, you'll kind of be getting your shield TECHNIC wish. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I personally wouldn't mind it if new variations on the current TECHNICs were added. (I hope Ambition of the Illuminus adds at least a few new TECHs to the game.) For example, something like Nosfoie, which I imagine could send a homing fireball (or fire trail) after enemies. And, uh... Damzonde? I picture that being something like a sparkler. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Another new TECHNIC I would love to see is a TP/MST debuff. It's the only debuff we don't have, after all. (Reteel, maybe?) It'd be nice to be able to get rid of the Retier Jarbas constantly cast on themselves.

Heh, You musta read my other post somewhere...

I already presented this idea to my buddies..

Wind Technics.. We have every element but air. WTH...

Call it something like "Zepha"

Zepha - Slicing air technic
Ra-Zepha - Burst of air (Knocks enemies back)
Dam-Zepha - A tornado swirls infront and you can direct it by turning.
Gi-Zepha - A hurricane forms around user. (Hold button down like Megiverse)

Photon Element can be teal in color

The photon can be called a "Fae-Photon" :/ or something. Make three little squiggly lines for air for the icon.

That's what I'd said like.. Mondayish.

Zan for wind. Bring back the old name.

Anyway, the game should be harder. I think it is easier because it had to make it possible to S-Rank under the old death penalty system. Now they should "hunt for bear" by trying to destroy the whole party. It's fair to do that under the new system now.

I also agree with the higher level only content--I was saying before that early in the game, you can fight the last boss on C-Rank if you want. Seems a little strange. Higher level areas would also show some advancement besides just leveling which is another thing I've been aching for.

Darkfalz/Darkforce. PS4 had three. I don't know how they would shoe-horn him into the story, but they can have several. If not, Magashi actually looks like what a dark force would look like (first form anyway) so maybe they should make more "last bosses" like that

How about a larger variety of enemies? I understand that it is cheaper to reskin stuff, but they need to use their imaginations more. I wouldn't mind seeing some old monsters though (locusta). How about some sword/axe weilding monsters less along the lines of kamatoze and that dark thing (those I like), but more along the lines of Delsaber, Marauder (PS1), Reaper (PS1), and Iron Knuckle (Legend of Zelda series). Those are classic monsters that seem missing.

A variety of special weapons similar to PSO. In PSO, everyone had their favorite special weapons, but now it's like everyone is going after the same things because there is not much variety within each weapon type. If there were more special weapons, the amount of rares found would naturally increase and then everyone would be more individualized because they would be using their preferred weapon, which I assume would each have its own special effect like the frying pan does.

A point that goes along with that is restoring laconia to its former glory at the top fo the food chain.

More variety in enemies.

I said it before, and I'll say it again--rare techs. There's no PVP yet and it will definitely separate techers. They could be rare drops. Maybe you could even *gasp* synth the disks (I'd hope not). And the possibilities with that are endless. The Zan (or Zepha) series could be rare. Neutral element techs. Ultimate techs. Having the old version of grants as a rare tech.

Combined techs. Foie + Barta + Zonde = Triblaster? Diga + barta = snowball? RaZonde + Rabarta = Blizzard? You get the point.

I envision a double handed saber type weapon, call it what you will, that is more powerful than a saber, less so than an axe, more accurate and faster than an axe. Yet I guess the balance would come in that it takes both hands and is a far cry from an axe in power. Most PS heroes used this type of blade. Or, conversely, give, as others suggested, a shield for the off-hand. When using the off-hand button, you would use the shield which would act as a "defend" command in turned based online games. They could increase your evasion, defense, and mst while active. This could be balanced by the fact that you have to use a single handed weapon, which is generally weaker, and they could make critical hits still come through normally, although less likely.

More/better variety clothing. I would like to see more colors. I also have problems finding just the right things for my characters. Women could use some help--the only thing they seem to have in the way of dresses are mini-skirts. There could be other options. (Yes I know there is an unreleased gown, but that's not what I had in mind).

For my character May, I wanted her to be something like a humar--I wanted a class geared toward melee w/ S-rank sabers and the ability to use technics. She first did figunner and then wartecher. I keep seeming to get two out of the three, but not all three. That's one class I wanted; I don't care what you call it.

To give humans and newmans something so they don't seem to lag behind casts and beasts, I've always thought, since I heard about photon arts, that some should use their tp stats if they are not forces. There could be special skills or bullets that encompass tech like abilities in their performance. For instance, something like Rayblade for sabers that makes a cur that is strengthened by the power of light. Or do something easy like a flaming strike attack. Boom--there's your tp usage, status effects, and strength of humans and newmans all in one swoop. Other ideas? Axe attack that causes an earthquake of sorts (ground damage?). Bullet arts like heavens punisher where the attack from the sky's power is governed by tp. And adding to it, beasts and/or casts still have their advantage of generally higher stats in the areas that matter for those classes--atp, def, ata.

Speaking further on the subject of thinning the lines, my super duper idea of making humans relevant while not overpopulating the servers with them is to give them a slight exp advantage when they lead parties. Give them a leadership ability, as in natural leaders. In classic PS, there have always been many races join parties, but humans usually have been at the helm. Not while soloing, but when they are leading a party (and maybe proportional to the number in the party) why not give the whole party a slight exp boost and maybe even a minor stat boost too depending on if it doesn't throw off the balance. That way, the parties would want at least one human, but they wouldn't want to overpopulate with all humans because that wouldn't benefit them. Strange idea, yes, but it makes them more relevant. Newman? That idea about being able to cast without canes/rods might work. Where does the power come from? Drawing from the PS past again, some Espers in PS4 were using their life energy to heal people. So, why not let them use this ability (at their own risk) by sacrificing life energy. That way they can be the casters that they are supposed to be, yet the techs would be weak since it is just going off their base tp and they are killing themselves while doing it. It would be like a last resort or something to use to save money in low danger situations. Now, whether they could use it while being a non-techer class is still open for discussion. My leaning is toward no, but then again, it would make them really special if they could always cast techs, albeit weak and killing themselves. And, if you want to tone it down, you could instead just give them more frequent high photon fortunes that they seemed to be getting toward the beginning of the game.

Lag, Graphics, Yada yada yada...

Oh. And Lassic.

Okay, I think I'm done.

There's a lot that I would like to see implimented, but I'll just mention two. I would like for the online storyline missions to be less of an "on rails" experience. With the offline story, you can wander around and talk to NPC's - many of which are un-named but specialize in certain fields. You have a Nano-Transformer specialist, an Astronomer, Photon/A-Photon fanatics, a PM Engineer, ect - all of which give you greater insight into the world you're trying to save. Ethan doesn't talk to them, so there's no relationship between characters they'd have to worry about accomodating. We need more of these in the online mode storylines. If Laia and I go on a mission - I don't necessarily want to be teleported immediately to the battlefield. I'd like the chance to stop and ask NPC's their opinions on matters and learn more about what's going on.

As for the second request, If they're going to put PSO stuff into PSU as a nod to the fans - how about something similar for the older games. With PSO areas, there's really not a lot of room for creativity since PSO was fairly recent and has a style you have to pretty much have to transfer over verbatum. There's really not much of a facelift you can give Forest 1. Whereas in contrast, many of the classic PS locations were drawn in 8 or 16 bit 2D graphics. There's quite a lot of room for re-envisioning and originality in re-creation. It could be a nice nod to classic players, while providing new content and areas for people who are newer to the franchise.

Though much to Ian's dismay - I think this might end up being the case further into PSU's lifespan. I'm starting to think that maybe PSU will be the title to either draw the entire series together, or set the stage for the next game to draw it all together. Hence, the term - Phantasy Star Universe... it may cross three games which take place in different galaxies, but are all confirmed to take place in the same Universe. The tie that binds them, being the struggle between the Light and the Darkness. Also.. maybe it's just an exaggeration of words - but even in the opening cinematics it claims "But now a Darkness has awoken, and threatens the Universe"... not "Threatens Gurhal".

Either way - I also think that if they were going to implement Ragol into PSU, that they should flesh out some of the areas from EPIII that were cool, but which we never got the chance to explore since it was only a card game.

Oh.. and on the subject of Human/Newman special abilities, I'm fine with them being as they are. But if they were to add them, I still think a cool human special ability would be the classic Megid - an anger and hatred based technique that damages all enemies and allies on screen with furious explosions. Of course, since the purple fartball Megid is already in place - it would have to be renamed. Perhaps... Megiddo, ala PSIII.

Dunno what a Newman special ability would be.

I was thinking maybe Newmans could have an uber-casting mode. Like have enhanced PP (decreased usage, increased amount, or even infinite) and faster casting for like 30 seconds or something like that. I mean think about it the other 2 races that specialize have things that deal with the class they are good at. Nano blast is a melee based special and SUV's are a range based special, only makes sense that Newmans get a Technic based special.

I like the Human idea, I couldn't think of something suitable to give them but that works.
