View Full Version : How big of a difference is there between male and female for

I was told that female Fortetechers get more TP than males. I knew they had more, but I assumed the difference was minimal. Today, someone told me I should have made my character female since I was a Fortetecher. Giving me the impression that females have notably higher TP.

So how big is the difference? If it's significant is there anything better about the males? I've already clocked 150 hours, but I'm sure that's going to be nothing in the long term. I'd rather start a new force now than regret not doing it 1,000 hours in.

Well that's that I guess. Is it the same for other races?

Oh and I wanted to ask... is there any difference in the casting times of males and females?

At 90/10 Newman.

Female has roughly 30 more TP and 50 more MST.

I never liked having to be a certain gender or race to be good at a class. Irritating.

Just be whatever you want to be, its not a huge deal.

Cast fortetecher is kind of a huge deal.

The difference is very minimial. You will have a bit more HP and ATP as a Male, a bit more TP, MST as a female, but it's hardly noticable. Anyone who tells you what you "should have" made your character is someone to NOT listen to.

Both Male and Female Newmans excel at the force class. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Yeah, you would've been so much better as a female. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

When you're talking about TP in the thousands, 30 TP difference is very very little.

Still the difference is minor, but I wanted to be the best I possibly can in teching. Plus the MST increase is like 70+ at lv100.

I guess the main reason I feel like an idiot for making a male newman is because my friends told me to when I wanted to make a female...

Well, back at the 70 cap, capped female newman FTs could wear Yamata-senbas while males couldn't.. that's not exactly a big deal any more though >_>

You are more likely to be asked to cyber as a female newman.

Um, kinda. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Malsa was supposed to be in Lan's spot and vise versa. >_>

I wanted Lan to be a Human Male fF... sure didn't work out. That's why his last name is katana.

The only noticeable difference, like all races and classes, is the 2 STA, the difference in other stats are meaningless (for the same race and class, of course).

Actually, they are not meaningless. The difference is significant because its a deciding factor of being able to ewuip an item early or not. An example, at the lv70 cap, Male fT weren't able to equip a Yamata-Senba while Female fT can.

It's OK, you can fix this. I heard in aoi, the unopen shop will open and you can fix your char there if you bring the guy a pair of rusty scissors and pay him 100,000 meseta.
