me and my friend have been playing split screen through pso but when we hit the dragon we just get raped we'v played through the forest 3 times now to gain levels and still die horribly, mainly the problem is the view, you cant see what the hell's happening thanks to it always being centered on the dragon, you cant even see your character i mean wtf, just wondering if theres many more battles like that one in the game? with the dragon its 99% running around aimlessly hopeing it doesnt hit you because you cant see whats happening or where you are

Yeah, this is a prob I found with my roommate in offline multi... the dragons the only place its been bad.. but there is something you can do.. just pay really close attention to the map and learn the dragons attack patterns (helps if you learn in single player mode first, he's easy when you can see him) and you should be able to dodge everything.. it just takes some getting used to and then he's easy..

The critical point to turn on the map is when the dragon dives into the ground so that you both don't get run over.

Best thing to do is Turn on map and Press or hold R to zoom out so u can see like the whole arena.

Come to think of it, you might have a slight problem fighting the Gol Dragon and the Gal Gryphon in Episode II... I'm just guessing here, I haven't tried multiplayer in episode II yet but two of the bosses can fly, which will cause you serious problems.

It's only really a problem with boss fights in Offline Multiplayer... and during the Gol Dragon boss fight in Episode II. During Single Player or Online modes, it's not a big deal. Actually... Multimode in general is difficult to see... but there's really no getting around that.

Yeah, multi offline can have horrible views...not to mention not being able to see weapon/armor stats. blah.

You can see any of the stats when looking through sections by pressing X. Then the stats window opens up. I actually got somewhat used to playing multiplayer offline after a few hours. Not so bad really, makes you really appreciate single player mode! heh.

Cool! Haven't done offline multi too much since getting the modem, but thanks for that tip. I'm sure it will come in handy.

Hahhahaha me and my 3 other buddies were complaining about the views like Banshees LOL. It was the best multiplayer experience I ever had since Gauntlet Legends on the N64 (hmmm lemme you got a 21 inch tv play split screen for 4 players and fought the dragon and I was the only survivor then the screaming starts LOL I love multiplayer).

Okay, when the dragon is walking around it'll lock onto one player, and will only use its attack once that players comes within its view (a fact that really gets to me since a lot of c-mode ppl forget to always stay behind the dragon).

When it goes underground, the trick is to run TOWARD the dragon, and then veer off at an angle once you get close to it.
