Stephan King thinks that you should read for 4 hours each day, and write for 4 hours each day. If you don't have time for that, then you can never be a good author...

How about: Nuh-uh! I write very slowly, sometimes only a page at a time, and I certainly don't write every night... But I'm good, still! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

BlueDagger made an awesome thread, even if its just because I can get to laugh at the angry reactions.

"Slow and steady wins the race" after all http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

... I do wish I had a typewriter, sometimes, though. I could just little things that come into my head without making a document and specifically printing it, and all that.

Like the other day for example: I was just sort of moping around the house - thinking - when before I know it I've got this potentially good speach for a possible villain.
But it was like, why bother, my story's gonna' change into soemthing completely different by the time its finshed anyway http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif (I make it up as I go along, pretty much. Just sort of chronicling my characters' lives)

But if I had a typewriter, I could've just wrote it, without having to think too hard about it, and there it'd be in front of me...
Maybe I just need a faster printer >_>

Seriously though, I don't think he meant write something coherent for four hours, tid-bits of some thought provoking statements and plot outlines. Like how artists get in practice by doodling on napkins rather than tackling huge poster sized drawings immediately.

Yeah, dont take the guy who's made millions of dollars and is world-renowned as a famous author's advice. I'm sure you know much better, what with the 3 or 4 fanfics I'm sure you wrote.

Jesus Christ.

i think I know what a pen is, it's like a pencil without an eraser, or some such.

I'm a slow writer. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Also, I've never written a single "fanfic" in my life. While I don't hold anything against you if someone does write fanfics, I never quite grasped the concept of using someone elses characters.
Everything I do it original, I hardly even draw fanart anymore, when I have my own characters to be drawing.

According to the morning news, the CIA was changing the pages to TV shows and some Govt offices were changing presidential candidate pages.

IP trackings lead to computers in Govt and CIA.

If I had the patience, I'd let my mind flow for hours at a time and I'd have a full book in a couple weeks.
