at that point you might as well drink capsaicin extract. Probably send yourself to the hospital in the process.

That's pussy stuff. Try this out:

Blair's 16 Million Reserve

It holds the Guinness World Record for hottest sauce. Other manufacturer's offerings might be able to match it, but it is chemically impossible to create a hotter food item.

It is capsaicin. Pure capsaicin. There is nothing adulterating it.

The question is, why would you want to eat something that hot? I love spicy stuff myself, and I would say I have a higher than average tolerance for it, but something milder (less badass?) and more flavorful trumps sheer heat, as far as I'm concerned. Tasting your food is good!

My dad loves hot sauce and the one i posted above he said wasnt hot.

I think i also have higher than average tolerance for spicy foods but that stuff is hot! Rarely do hot sauces make me drink milk but that stuff did.

Heres another one thats fairly hot, it sticks to your mouth which makes it less bearable than others.

Well, if you ask Mr. Blair, of Death Sauce fame, his explanation is that it makes you "feel alive". That aside, there's also the observation that the pain causes you to produce endorphins, which generally results in a sensation of euphoria that you would otherwise have to hurt yourself rather badly to obtain.

so basically it's the same idea behind body suspension, but with hot sauce. Interesting.

What did you do afterward to cool your mouth and throat? Chug glasses of water?

HAYABUSA-FMW-
Aug 18, 2007, 06:37 PM
I heard you drink milk or eat bread instead of drinking water.

And some TV show back when on FOX had some people doing that.

Forgot what the contest was about, maybe even a Guiness Records thing.

Almighty_Envy

capsaicin isnt water soluable so milk helps get rid of the burning feeling.

Bread and other fluffy things help absorb the spicy oil.
