View Full Version : Crimson beast 2 persons activating 3 switches?

I've heard talk of two people being able to active the 3 switches in block 3 of crimson beast using tornado dance. Could someone help me and explain exactly the position of both players have to be and the exact spot to use tornado dance? A friend and I have tried for almost 30 mins to get this to work but couldn't.

If your lagging baddly you can just run on them if your lagging enough you can accualy get all 3 so load up some youtube videos and try it again.

I used to do that on PSO when the buttons were close enough XD
Haven't tried on PSU though.

Use either a lag switch or remove and replug your cord before it disconnects you.

I asked about this very same thing in another thread but didn't get an answer yet. My friend and I tried the TD thing for 10 minutes with no luck. I hope lagging isn't the only way to get it to work. That's a bit too tricky to be a consistent method, don't you think? :/

I was watching my friend try it earlier. He managed to pull it off with the TD method. Of course, we had someone on switch #3.

Is there some kind of trick to it? Was there a lot of lag? Did he have to start from a certain position or something?

I don't believe he was lagging. After all, he's my neighbor so the lag is more than likely less significant.

Well, if I were you I'd try it how he did it. Stand on the leftmost switch. Stay around the middle of it, and then TD away. Of course, it does involve some luck... he didn't do it until his 3rd or 4th try.

Well I'm glad to hear it can probably be done without lagging. Still, my friend tried it about 30 times with no luck. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

I made a little diagram (visual aid FTW http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif). So basically you're saying one person was standing on Switch #3 and your Fighgunner friend was standing on the middle of Switch #1 and TD'ed to Switch #2?

Jaggo hunting in VoC and Mine Defense is boring. Crimson is a lot more fun IMO. If there's a way to do it with two people, I'll do whatever I can to find it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

well personally, facing the door, the other person stands on the rightmost switch, I stand on the edge of the center switch facing the left switch, and use tornado dance, I have never ever failed to do it first try.

The Jackel are you pc or ps2? My friend was on pc trying that and couldn't get both switches to activate at the same time. Thanks for the help.

just ask a friend to join to step on the switch..i made a mistake and forgott to wait to kill the jaos so they can leave and well lets just say i have 1 less friend i thought was cool...=)
or you can ask someone in the lobby...or you can unlock party and wait for someone and then ask them to leave or boot them after they step on the switch because its not booting for jaos theyre just a little help....if you join a prty already at jaos you think youll have the chance to stay???very rarely do they let you stay...

The pc/ps2 population is getting lower every week. Not even 3 full stars anymore. A lot of people are leaving waiting for AOI or confiirmation on if we are getting the Famicup event. So any trick that lets jaggo hunting to be done in CB wiith 1 or 2 people is welcomed.

Wait...do you have to level up the Tornado dance to do this trick?

Tornado Dance doesn't get any new combos at higher levels so I doubt it.

My friend and I still haven't been able to do this trick even after trying again. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

It only works sometimes, don't brag and say its fail proof, because it isn't. It's depending on position and latency.

I'm not bragging, except I've never had a problem doing it. You can call that bragging, but for some reason it just always works for me.

**IMPORTANT**

My friend and I just discovered the "secret" to making Tornado Dance work on the three switches in Crimson Beast! We had trouble before, but after running some tests, we discovered that it's the frame skip!! At frame skip 1 it never worked, but after changing the system to frame skip 2 it worked every time. To anyone out there hunting Jaggos at CB, if you are having trouble with this method, try increasing the frame skip! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

(We're on the PC version if that makes any difference)
