IS there anything event-wise happening this month from PSOW?
And for that matter how many people still pay?

The next update should include a famitsu-cup type event which will run for 4-5 weeks. Keep an eye on the JP360 page for more info on the next update.

As for population: On a good day I usually see 3 and a half stars in UNI 2

Yes, the Cup SHOULD be coming next, though it's very possible that it won't happen. I personally can't think of why it wouldn't be happening, but none of us know for sure... it hasn't been confirmed or denied yet. :|

it would seem very strange to just spring an event out on people wouldn't it?
