Using Firefox and in a topic just now randomly hit the / key while trying to hit some other key and "Quick Find:" shows up.

Exit with ESC

Like CTRL+F but faster? What's the diff between this and CTRL F? Like Notepad to Wordpad?

CTRL F has those extra options like X out the toolbar, next, previous, highlight all, match case.

Supposedly, it's the same way in Gears of War. Somehow, everything is a noob weapon.

Apparently, the chain saw is considered cheap.

As if you a man's weapon smoking up and running towards you isn't clue enough as to what is going on. I swear to god, I'm going to find the guy who sits there in his spare time and says "Know what? I don't like that weapon, let me tell everyone I know to pass it around and make it universally known that this weapon is gay!"

It's like the sniper is the only fucking weapon in the game. It's bullshit.

That's happened with pretty much every weapon, I've heard.

Apparently I was called a "B button" whore for knocking someone down with the melee.

I fucking hate the XBox live community.

What's next? Are they going to insult you for using the R button?

I never played that game online, never even played it past the first unlockable achievement thingy.

Now here to cheer up/reverse some spirits:

I played it online today. I played at a friend's house with him and another friend (over Xbox Live).

I fully expected to get royally owned, and I did.

Great minds think alike. I began using the "R button" whore once someone used "B Button" whore against me.

I await the day where people say something like this: "You f***ing noob, you fought back!"

Even worse about me playing online was the fact that both of my friends were on the other team. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

lmao. Yeah, I kind of like cheating and bringing in a guest so they're on same sides and if I die, I just switch over to the other one and play, muahaha

It does in GunZ team deathmatch.

One guy left on the other side and doing his best to search out the other sides' guys left, people who are already dead go and exit and join the other team - seeing where they are, then jump back to the original team and tell the last guy left where the enemy is.

Tystys
Aug 18, 2007, 08:58 PM
Yeah it has. I use the other screen when I die to look for enemies, lmao.

Has anybody ever figured out your tricks?

Tystys
Aug 18, 2007, 09:03 PM
Well, they have to. I mean, the guest isn't moving, so they keep asking me where the guy is, lmao

Tact
Aug 18, 2007, 09:04 PM
That works.

My intent of the question, though, was to ask about your opponents. Have they ever figured you out?

Tystys
Aug 18, 2007, 09:05 PM
Well, that's hard to say. Not really, because all they do is complain the guest isn't there.

Intiate my non-stop laughter-mobile.

Socom makes the teams fair automatically so you cant choose them mid-game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

however i was playing in a room and one of the players had his friend on the phone on the other team telling him where everyone was hiding http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Him: Theres a guy to the right of you behind that wall Envy

Me: * Bang * no theres not.

Aug 18, 2007, 09:08 PM

Gears of War has something like that in a ranked match.
