Apparently NOT going to Ren Fair.

We had a storm last night and are to be getting more throughout the day. So my friends have decided not to go. Thus, I am stuck at home, plotting what I want to buy with the $90 I have on me. No suggestions please, I'll make my own decision.

They don't all dress in armor. Most dress in tunics and pantaloons. I have seen some dressed in armor, even some ladies in chainmail bikinis, but not many.

I was thinking more along the line of swords, a peice of armor isn't much of a rod, though it does extract lightning. Though your fair may not allow carrying of such swords. Ours actually sells them at the fair, friend has one he got there, he bought a claymore, it's huge.

Our fair sells swords, axes, maces, lances, spears, etc.

Personally, the only things I had on my mind to buy this year were an Ocarina of Time (they actually make them for the Earthen Arts shop there) and a horn.

i wants a sword >.> something fancy and not loose, A non-loose sword that i could imagine would be made of pure metalic-material. (the blade is one with the hilt)

along the coast of canada near the atlantic ocean, Its beside Nova Scotia, and below Prince Edward Island (PEI). i have a thread in off-topic, describing most of my city. i never have any places like what you have, its really boring here unless you play games hang with your friends, eat, swim, the usual. but when it comes to fairs like the "Ren Fair", al we have is an exhibition, rolor coasters, farris wheel(which crushed someone few years back), bunch of rides, but its only for a week eacho year. we also have a hockey rink which is never used (harbour station) but i guess some people pay to go skateing there >.> when we have like 3-4 other rinks. sigh my city sux, for actual things worth going to.

I don't actually own any, I'm not going to chuck out what little money we have for a peice of metal that's gonna hang on my wall. I do enjoy looking at them and messing around with the ones my friends own though.

I wasn't old enough to do some axe throwing. wooden Swords and shield souvenirs though. Broken in like 1 week after we got them.

Sorry to hear about the Storm Alex. Don't go wasting the moneys on more JRPG's! (Odin Sphere "must play", Persona, etc. etc.)
