kinda well is broken (Fan core died)

in all honesty, I have never owned an MP3 player. I've never listened to enough music to warrant doing so. Though I've built some up this summer, mostly electronica/dance though, surprisingly not much metal.

According to my last.fm record, I've listenened to an average of 24 tracks/day since 12/05, but that's a bit short. So, I don't really listen to that much. Sometimes silence is nice.

I simply cannot believe anyone could "hate" music. That's certifiably insane.

Music epeens? Try 143GB on for size. Mind you I go for quality over quantity though as a good half of that is in lossless. If I'm at my computer, I'm most likely listening to music. Even when I play games I'll often have music playing in the background.

Also, there are ways to get the music un-linked from the specific computer, copy the music from the ipod to any computer, and remove the nasty DRM. But, hey, most people are too lazy to do that and would rather just re-download everything through itunes.

At least now Apple and Microsoft are selling DRM-free music. Too bad it all suffers from 'shitty-quality syndrome' just like all legally downloadable music. I've never understood why people pay more for a lower quality version of their music, that they'll never actually own the hard copy of, and take it up the ass still for user rights (What do you mean I can only write it to a CD 3 times? What, I can't transfer it to my new computer without re-downloading it, but I already have it!). Name me a music service that gives lossless quality and charges $0.12 a song, legally, and then they might be a fair alternative to Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. If I'm going to be raped out of audio fidelity I'm not going to pay to get it.
