I first used her 'cause her name, also Ohno cosplayed her in Genshiken, so she looked familiar.

I often choose characters initially for odd reasons, the main reason I used Ayane in DOA was because of her giant ribbon.

I also like Ayane for how all of her attacks are spinny and fun, she's the only character I can play well in DOA2, the only other character I like to use is Hitomi.

Ayane, Jan Lee, Ein, Kasumi, and Hitomi for me.
Mostly used Hitomi was cause she was pretty good with combos, and her voice is my favorite VA (Yui Horie)

Isuka does suck, that doesn't mean I'm not going to like a character from it. The reason it sucked was because you had to use R and L buttons to actually turn your guy around, as well as fade in and out of backgrounds (there was a forground and background.)

Anyways, she later showed up in GGXX Slash
