Hola.

first post on this board, anywho I'm getting a Modem Adapter for Gc so i can play online, First unfortunatly i have AOL http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif, and from the reasearch that ive done it seems AOL doesn't connect for PSO GC or any Video game console for that matter. I need a new ISP preferably one thats free what isp does everyone else use?, can anyone direct me to a good isp?

Thank You.

My AIM sn is MainEvent60.

Here is a list of ISPs:

http://thelist.internet.com/

Unfortunately, you will not be able to use AOL with PSO without making some roundabout configurations. If you have AOL Broadband (High-Speed), you can set up your computer as an ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) server, assuming it's a Windows PC. However, you would have to buy a crossover cable and a networking card, and a GC BBA adapter instead of a GC modem adapter. This will also work if you have dial-up AOL and a GC BBA adapter.

If you are buying a GC modem, as you stated, you cannot connect with AOL. The only option would be to set up your computer as a server and to have your GC dial into it.

Truthfully, though, if you can make the governing decision as to what ISP you use, I would recommend switching. You will get better connections and more reliable ones at that with almost anyone other than AOL. Be wary, though; a lot of free ISPs do not give you the most reliable connections, understandably.

Hopefully, some folks will chime in as to what the best free ISPs are. There should be several on that list, too.
