One book, brand new $123.50
Same book covered in plastic shrink wrap $166.50

Freaking schoolin' bookstore trying to screw me over man. Asked the cashier if there was a difference after noticing that the book was some 40 odd dollars more than my website bookstore printout list price, she didn't know. The dudes near the books helping folks out whom I asked when I got the book said there wasn't a difference either. The package doesn't say a difference other than, "remove this shrink wrap, no full refund."

So hold on to this one I'll go grab the other one without the shrink wrap to see if the prices are different. Yep.

don't remember what I said to Moo last. as per books, I used to know a really good site to buy college ones, my mom's in college and she had talked about it. But I only used to know, so I'm not much help.

Corn in FKL is at a 6 month high. Hopefully the overseas markets kick into gear and exports/imports run the course and the corny trend gets lowered by the time Captain Moo is back in the building.

This charging extra for shrink wrapped books is standard practice? Not like I asked for book wrapping as an extra service. That'll teach me to grab one of the handful of ones with plastic wrap on them!
