Hahaha, it's bringing back certain memories of a flash movie. XD
Seriously, this is sad. What's more scary is that people will be willing to bid for this. o_O

Anyone who spends real money on anything like an online RPG to get rare weapons/items/armor is a total retard with way too much money.

It ought to. With you reporting it to SafeHarbor, and me reporting it directly to Sega, something ought to happen sometime soon. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_evil.gif

Perhaps new to PSO, but old news in general. It's very common to see players selling rares for "real money" in many online RPGs. Take Diablo II, for an example. I saw way too many people around my neighborhood buying uber-rares with real green piece of papers.

I feel sorry for that person paying $80...I wrote to them and told them that they were probably dupes and he was getting ripped off.

Not new to PSO at all. But it irks me that these are so blatantly dupes, and they're still going up to extremely high amounts of money. It seems illegal in so many ways.

It's sorry stuff... But I still maintain nothing will beat the X-Box BOX that got sold for 300$!
A box? What the fuck?
Is there like a link to a news site, or something, that will show this? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Nope; it was on eBay. I saw it at the right moment. The bid had closed, and actually quite a lot of people bid for it. Winner: 300$! Someone else did the same thing with the DC box, but since it was more obvious it didn't rack up so much cash as the X-Box one.

One question: WHY?
What was so special about that particular box?

Because the person thought he was getting the system.
The description of the item was just "Microsoft XBox."
Well, that reason certainly sucked the humour out of it for me. Plain old scam.
