Attacked by own PM?

A friend of mine claims to have just been shot (and killed) by his own PM while it was confused. Can anyone confirm that they really do this? Another says his techer PM once froze him in a similar situation.

It a PM/NPC is confused, then yes, it can attack you. It's happened to me a few times.

If another player's confused character can't hurt you, I doubt a PM/NPC can.

that would be funny, PMs don't really attack, so it'd be funny if one of the few times they did, it was confused, and it actually killed you. Actually, that's more sad on your part lol

Not to mention if Laia, Leo, and Tonnio gets confused and manhandles your ass in Nanoblast forms O-O Talk about an ouchie!

NPCs aren't human players; it's not a stretch that their behavior when confused would be different.

Admittedly though I haven't witnessed this myself, so I can't say for sure either way.

Doesn't seem like much of a stretch. If NPCs can wield any weapon type, it's not like other parts of their behavior can't be changed.

I never did like the look of those PMs, all innocent and stuff. They are actually all evil machines that have been SEED infected, but the goverment has issued mind suppressors that stop the little machines from rioting, the confuse status simply temporarily malfunctions the suppressor and the PM can think straight again for a limited amount of time, which means heading straight for the person that keeps feeding it 4000 items that 'Don't taste too good...' and proceeding to spank him/her in the face.

weird but one time a ff friend was attacking a mob while he was confused, and i was riight in front of his axe when he did his PA.

i got pwned from full hp to none.

none of the enimies even swiped their claws, and im not even mentioning the fact that then it took them 4-7 shots to kill me.

I think it was probably a glitch. I once died in Hive C 5 seconds after walking in. FOR NO REASON!!! I think it is in the same category of glitches as the whole "complete HSM when you first walk in" glitch.
