Facts:

1. Most people wanted it.

2. Some are so hysterical over it they can't stop making pointless posts about it ad nauseum ad infinitum.

3. SEGA has said nothing either way.

I have made a post on the officvial forum that's ab out 6 pages long on this topic. I really want the event... on this thread you will read nearly all the information you will need to know. My long(!) and relatively well informed and thought out personal reflections on the situation along with many other peoples and the occaisonall bit of garbage posting.

Also if you want to email Sega(like I have on this issue twice and got replys, twice!) then email directly. I would urge and appeal to antone and EVERYONE who wants this event to email Sega and LET THEM KNOW IT!!! These emails ARE read and are VERY imortant if we hope to get it. We may fail but we're doomed if we don't. You will find enough info on my thread on the official site for you to send a good email.

And of course(and I'll get shot for saying this!) post on the official forum, keep the cup topics to the top as Sega DO read these, people have to let Sega know how much most of us wnat this event, the reasons why and why it will be pretty bad for the community(in many ways; see my thread) if we don't get it!
