I am on the boss De Rol Le on GC. Im havin some trouble on beatin him. My weapon is a Draw Brand+6. and im level 12 HUmar. what level should i be at and what techniques? what weapon? PLEASE REPLY!!!!

Use a partisan or sword class weapon. One that will hit multiple spots on his head with each swipe. Do one or two three-hit combos while he's attached to the side of the raft, and then get out of the way to dodge the tentacle (or whatever) that slams down from above. Then repeat the attack. Just make sure you time it right so you don't get hit by it. (Or make sure you can take a few blows.)

When he rains boulders from above, go to one of the far corners of the raft, right to the very end, to hopefully dodge them. Do your best to avoid its other attacks.

Also, bring a handgun or use Zonde to strike him a few times when he's in the water.

12?! You should try somewhere along 18-22, even if you're a hunter. One of his attacks which is pretty difficult to avoid is his Grants that he spits from the side. So be ready to heal at that point.

Grants? i think ur talkin about falz. we're talkin bout de rol le.

and i've done de rol at lv 9 before. as long as you get the hang of his patterns and your character can handle the little purple ball things you should be able to beat him. just use a partisan or something to that effect. you should be ok. if you try enough and still cant beat de rol go lv a few times in the temple and try again. i think barba ray is easier than de rol. you should be able to beat him. its gonna take a while to beat the dragon after speceship though. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

This is like the last post (ever) I'll make on the Cave Boss... So I'll make it very detailed!

Go into the battle with a sword and brand, optional is an autogun.

The very first thing you should do once the battle starts is to move to the upper-left side of the boat (upper being the direction you're moving and the closest point to where the boss is)

Its first attack will be to toss out mines at you. Destroy (only) the one in the upper-left corner with the brand. After you do that, move back to the very upper-left corner of the ship.

The boss will move along the side of the boat and will do its energy attack. If you stay at the very upper-left corner, it'll miss you. If you have the autogun, take shots at it.

Now, switch to your sword. and try to remain on the lower side of the boat, so you can hit the body. Once it lands on the boat, attack the body with the sword. Do two (two is safe until you get the timing down) three hit combos - I recommend normal, hard, hard. Again, attack the body. All the parts you hit will count against the boss's total HP. After the two combos, start running around the boat (near the boss would be nice) until it does its tentacle attack. Once it does that, do 1 three hit combo, again on the body. After that, start running again.

Very Important: The spot you are on when it withdrawls its tentacle from the boat is the next spot it'll attack. So, try to keep an eye on the tentacle, and make sure you're not standing on the same spot when it withdrawls it from the boat.

The next two attacks are sorta tricky.

First there is the 2nd enery attack. Once again, move to the upper-left corner of the boat, but don't stand at the very upper-left corner. Look down at the edge of the boat near the upper-left corner. You'll see a solid black line drawn at edge of the boat. It's near the upper-left corner, and on the west side. Stand on that line. If you do, you'll avoid getting hit.

The other attack is... well, you probably won't be able to avoid it. Start by standing at the very upper-right corner of the boat. You'll avoid its energy attack at this spot. However, since the three mines it launches at you will move toward you... Stay on the upper-right corner, and use the brand and try to destroy all three mines. If you do, and remaine on the very upper-right corner of the boat, you won't get hit. Even if you don't manage to destroy all three, you're a HUnter and therefore have enough HP to survive - Other classes are dead.

After that it'll land on the boat again. Attack it in the same manner as you did before.

Next it'll go on the ceiling and boulders will come crashing down. It's pretty much random where they'll drop, so pick a corner on the ship and just stand there. You can try to look for the shadows in order to move out of the way, but I think that's too much work. Again, being a HUnter, you can take the hit.

Now, it gets all dark.

During this time, it may or may not launch mines at you. If it does, it'll either be the 3 homing ones or the 5 regular ones. Deal with them as you did before.

It also does its laser attack when its dark. It's very easy to avoid it if you know what to do. Listen to the laser. It powers up, goes silent, and then fires. The spot that you're standing on when it goes silent will be where the laser hits. So just move out of the way (move left-right, not north-south). If you're unsure what that means, just keep running back & forth (left-right) on the boat.

Once the lights come back on, it'll pretty much do the same attack again.

ok u people are being weird. The second time i faced De Rol Le i shattered his skull part and he was down to his worm head. Then i ran out of TP and Monofluids and Monomates and he killed me with Big purple laser thingy.......
