Stolen from the latest JP update:

From the moemi psu website, apparently - an anonymous uploader who claimed to 'hack' the PSU data.
I dunno, the numbers feel right to me... any thoughts?

so any idea what the kanji characters mean? is it a type of weapon?
Or is it luck? and that applies to all A-ranks?

Think about it... there are 4 levels of luck, from 0 to 3... and there are four sections?
Sheesh. 0 luck is at the top, 3 luck is at the bottom.

Looks fine to me.
I still lol when people claim it's better to grind on a 1 or 2* day simply because they have bad luck with 3*.
Although admittedly 3* isn't much better.
I always felt I failed more grinds using like a A+1 from 2 to 3 rather than a A+8 or more.
Hopefully this is true, super helpful.

This is a great find. Nice to actually see how little a difference some upgrades are when using different grinders in detail. Thanks for posting this.
Edit: yeah if it's true and all that.

If it IS true, mind you; remember, that this was an anonymous posting by a JP real hacker - but the numbers do feel correct.

lmao if these numbers are right... i can laugh even harder at my grind-happy friend... he breaks stuff all the time cuz he doesnt know when to stop... n now i know that his 44% ice ank barde broke on a 99.75% chance of success (3* luck, 1-2, A+10).... dang sum1 offered him 7 mil for that thing back when bruce was popular lol

lol. I'm pretty sure the minimum for 0-1 on 3 luck is A+4. A+1 doesn't give you a guaranteed grind.

I've grinded all my A ranks with A+1 and they've been fine so far.

Acording to that chart, I had roughly a 70% chance of getting to +5 on my Degahna Cannon. It made me feel more confident at the very least. Now I've got one bad ass cannon. xD

+10 for the win obviously, but just in general... it's well worth it to bust out high level grinders every step of the way, otherwise you're just asking to have your equipment blown up. I guess that's how other people are so successful getting things to +10 while I've been lucky to see +6. They go all-out on grinder quality. EDIT: on a max-luck day your overall chance of getting to +5 is 44% with A+7 all the way, compared to 70% with A+10 all the way. Using anything less than A+8 on grinds past than +3 is equipment suicide. Important fact to recognize.
On the other hand, luck seems overrated... +1 for 1* luck, +3 for 2*, +5 for 3*. Waiting for rare super-luck days isn't worth it. Waiting for luck AT ALL is equal to using a higher-level grinder maybe.

I wonder if these are basic percentages and the type of weapon, maker also impacts this? I have also run into two people have broken something on a 3 star luck day with an A+1. That isn't reflected on the chart.
This chart may show what lusk actually does. 0 luck is the flat rate. 1* = +1%, 2* = +3% and 3* = +5% for all rates or something. Seems enough to make a beneficial difference, but not really enough to make an impact on gameplay. Thus why everyone insists that luck does nothing?

It *says* "no chance of failure," but is that 100% really 100%? I keep hearing about people who've failed a "no chance of failure" grind. It's never happened to me, luckily.
Nice info though, thanks! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I've heard that once, though from someone with a post count of 1 and didn't spell a single word right.

Didn't someone mention before that No chance of failure = actually 95% or something because they had a grind actually fail during a "No chance to fail" situation?

I've heard stories or people failing on the "No chance" grind. I've never had it happen myself. It's either a rumor or EXTREMELY unlikely. In either case, just assume it's 100%.

the first grind at the vl 3 luck day is no chance at failure, that is why everyone grind it to +1 for every good A rank.
the ppl who say they fail it at lv 3 luck, mean they just lied

If that were true, and I personally doubt it is, I should have had about 8 broken weapons on all my 0 -> 1 grinds. I've yet to see one break.
If there is a chance of breaking, the probability on a no chance of failure grind is probably 99.99%

So the grind rates for 7*,8*,and 9* are the same? I never knew that (-.-;)

I'm going to assume that the chance of failure for a 3* star luck day using any grinder is 99.99%.
My neighbor failed his Beam Vulcan on his 3* luck using a Grinder A+3. He didn't fear it breaking because it said "No chance of failure", so he went ahead and did it, and it failed.
Ever since then he's never ground another weapon...

I don't think so. I think that there is still a small chance it will fail, even with 3 star luck and an A+1 grinder. Maybe 2%? 1%? Two friends who I trust and game with often, have told me that they have seen a weapon break on that very first grind. I have not seen it, but I believe them.

Hmm.. yeah think this should be floating sticky? If these numbers are true... I think they're quite useful for the math geek.

*raises hand*
*raises other hand with broken Beam Vulcan when attempting to go from +1 to +2*
And to think, before that happened, I said in a thread that I've never broken a grind before.
