the GL there is not hard, I played PSOBBJP before, and I think that should be the same to the way to buy that in US. the only problem is 99% of Jper won't speak Eng with you ;_;.. make me feel lonely there...

I dont know were you read these magic threads that contained all this info supporting those claims, however there are plenty of post negating all those rumors.
In fact, Id say this forum is the exact opposite of what you saying, most rumors that circulate and then are corrected by us come from the majority of the Xbox live community.

Its not just due to xenophobia (Though its still possible in some small part), its fairly common that games, food, entertainment etc, are almost always much better in their country of origin.

Its a pain to find a 'real' hamburger in Japan, and a lot of US/EU games never get released in Japan. Online games like WoW, that originated outside of asia, tend to get fairly poor support/upkeep in asia.

Collectors editions are released in one region only quite often, patches occasionally end up being released for only one language of a game (Not so common anymore as it was in the past)

In America, its hard to get 'real' cultural food unless you happen to live in a melting pot such as NYC.

Games/media get edited from their source country (Yes, even US/EU born entertainment have been edited off and on when ported into Asian culture due to the differing censorship)

Seeing the differences in version with a blatant side-by-side comparison such as happens almost continuously with the PS community, results in making those differences incredibly glaring.

Europeans occasionally import from the US due to censorship (Again, less common nowadays), games, movies, whatever. There was a time when having blood in games was against the law (Germany I think? Its been years and I don't remember anymore) as opposed to America where it was just 'chance of less sales'.

PSU is one game. Sega is one company(technically). Most people don't look at the entire picture, and thus jump to conclusions. Word spreads, people get upset that conclusions don't happen. Online games can even differ a lot from the native source region, resulting in a much different experience for better or worse(Common in a lot of Korean MMOs....).

Thank you for the translation. I was surprised by some of the numbers and expected Male CASTS to be the most used from playing here and a big surprise for me is how many don't play as Male Newmans.

Also the PM percentages were surprising also. I would have though the 412 would have been higher up on the list.

I am not surprised about Protranser.

ST plays a pretty sick joke for this mission. Route 1 is stable, contains a map from fami cup. Route 2 is random, contains maps from firebreak. The rare drop rate for this mission is digustingly high, and so is the exp. No excuse not to get to lv100 now.

Edit: Now that I'm taking a small break, I can elaborate. By disgustingly high, I managed to go from 92-94 in a little over 2 hours in terms of exp.

Also there are up to 6 SEED Vitace a run, so the Hyper Viper market has just crashed considerably. Personally, I managed to snag a Sweet Death, Ank Dedda from some Darbelans that ambushed us in the Bruce Dungeon map, among others.

Edit: Now that I'm taking a small break, I can elaborate. By disgustingly high, I managed to go from 92-94 in a little over 2 hours in terms of exp.

Also there are up to 6 SEED Vitace a run, so the Hyper Viper market has just crashed considerably. Personally, I managed to snag a Sweet Death, Ank Dedda from some Darbelans that ambushed us in the Bruce Dungeon map, among others.

yea i kinda wish i had enough cash to buy the regular version first to use this to lvl up but i have so little cash, that when i buy JP AOI i wont even have enough money to start paying the monthly fee! XD

One of the rare map variations is Bruce Dungeon. If you get this path, you're guaranteed 2 Darbelans, which have the Ank Dedda, and 3 Jaggo Actes. And of course, a fight with Dark Fakis, at 350% exp mod.

the GL there is not hard, I played PSOBBJP before, and I think that should be the same to the way to buy that in US. the only problem is 99% of Jper won't speak Eng with you ;_;.. make me feel lonely there...



Interestingly enough, with what little time I spent on PSU JP, during the month that the server troubles that they initially had, I must have met someone who was among that 1%. Knowing how to ask "Do you speak English?" helped me a little.

Yet with so meny players speaking Japanese there, it's hard to know which ones imported the game, and which ones are really from Japan, so I was often scared to interact with people.
