I don't have a modem yet so i wanted to know a few things. Can you still use the internet without PSO? If you can would you still get charged monthly or something?

Unfortunately, unlike the Dreamcast, you cannot surf the web with the GameCube. So far, the only use the modem has is to play PSO Ep. 1&2.
