Hahaha. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time used military time.

It did. The Gossip Stones used military time, as well as the Clock Soldier outside of Kakariko Village.

Isn't America one of maybe a handful of nations that DON'T use m-time? Most other nations use it. It should hardly be called military time.

But America is screwy dood.
we don't use metric, we don't drive on the same way.
Not exactly original, but hey, w/e.

Milit time on DS saves you from setting the alarm 12 hours off, usually! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

That is, if you actually use its alarm. >_>; I guess it helps set the game clock correctly too.

Actually, the number of countries that drive on the left side of the road can probably be enumerated on one hand. By far, the norm is to drive on the right side.

Also, if we are to use some sort of uber-organized time format, then I think we should use Beat time. Fuck time zones.

Oh, yeah, .beat time! (Yes, I think it is spelled with the period in front of it.)

It would feel all futuristic too. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

In a story I've been working on, the characters actually use beat time.

It's not, actually. I dunno' if the need will ever arise for them to reference the time in FFD.

The one I'm using .beats for is Xylr Kyde.

We haven't heard anything about that from you. What's it about?

Dammit, I shouldn't have refreshed the page, I had it all typed out, now I have to do it again. ._.

Xylr Kyde takes place in the year XK 238, 238 years after the establishment of the Xylr Kyde treaty, which outlines interstellar law and such, this treaty is enforced by the Toryle Union.

Major planetary states in Xylr Kyde include:

Pangaea (Earth): After a the events of Ash Winter (a major eruption that triggered a global change of climate), the Earth became unified under a single government, with nearly two-thirds of the earth frozen over and most of north america covered in volcanic ash. The capital is Pangaea City, which spans the entirity of the Australian continent despite the amount of nearly unusable land, Pangaea quickly became a major player in interstellar politics and is one of the largest military powers in Xylr Kyde.

Xygre: Xygre is governed by the Xygrean Democratic Council, its form of government is similar to that of the United States of now, but the executive branch consists of both the president and the executive council. The Xyrgrean military is not as large as Pangaea's, but the Xygrean Rangers are considered the most elite military force in existence, also the Xygrean Hunters (a police force that operates a step below the military), is used to enforce interstellar laws when necessary.

There are other planets too, but they aren't as developed.

Organizations:

CFC (Cause For Chaos): A group that existed on earth a few decades prior to the establisment of the Toryle Union, they sought to seize control of the planet earth, but dissapeared after a large scale orbital dogfight. Though every member is quite young and they're few in number they're a major driving force in the story and pose a serious threat to any group. They later resurface on Xygre, apparently having managed to activate a sort of stasis to survive that long, and by pure luck landed on Xygre.

Hunter crew - Rukyder: Part of the elite Xygrean police force known as Hunters, they were assigned to investigate a strange meteor impact in the abandoned Old Mayflower District of Xygre's capitol Pioneer City. The "meteor" later was discovered to have been CFC's ship, the CFC.

If you wanna' know more about it feel free to ask, but that's some basic info off the top of my head.

Er, I meant the government structure, what with having three branches and the like. >_>;

The government of Xygre has a similar structure, but the president has less power, though it's still an important office. I'm afraid I've forgotten the specifics as to what the executive council does, and I've no idea where my notes are. >_>;

You get extra BOOSTING points for driving on the "wrong side" of the road in Drift City.
