I might be the only guy that even knows what book you're talking about. Old Kingdom/Abhorsen trilogy is awesome though.

Nix has some other good books, though I wouldn't say they top the Old Kingdom trilogy.

I read those as a kid, but I didn't finish them until I was much older and had lots of spare time in a Border's bookstore. Damn sunstones, why you gotta be so high up D;

I think I remeber those, omigosh is that the one with the seals and mountain where they snuck into the castle and stuff
