I just got PSO last week, so dunno much about it, anyway, Episode 2 is so hard....especially with a HUcaseal that has a CRAP mag.... anyway, i as if by some magical force, i got to the Gal Griffon.... but I couldnt figure out a way to fight it with Soul Eater..... any help??? btw Im lv19....

Since Im asking about episode 2, mite as well ask this as well, will a lv34 RAmarl with lv150 mag b able to beat the Hard VR spaceship, and yes, I still havent find out a way to beat that damn VR dragon, I just relied on my soul eater to kill him in normal >_<

there is better advice out there, but I'll tell you what got me through. Distance. Get a decent gun and just keep hammering him with the gun. That's the best way I could find to do it...

I imagine there is a much better way. I would love for someone to enlighten me on this topic as well.

Edit: Oi! Last time I play drink the beers and then try to post. I don't understand how I could write college term papers drunk and can't write a silly little post on a forum... ah well. I think that is a sign for the end of the night for me....

now, where's my gallon of water and asprin???

Put down that partisan and step away...use a gun. Seriously, a friend and I fought him 2day in V Hard and since i had never been in Ep. 2, i didnt know who the boss was, so all i had were my crappy vulcans + 9. Needless to say with the lower range and cool down on mechguns..i died, and when he tried to revive me, he died too. So, after dogging on him that he died even being at lvl 115, i grabbed my varista and didnt die again.

The Gal Griffon can kill most players if you're close to the point of impact from his stomp in a single strike.

The further away you are, the less damage you take and the higher the possibility of even blocking I beleive.

I use my Rappy Fan for all boss encounters and it seems to work fine as long as you get the timing down.

Sadly, most bosses in Episode 2 require major distance between you and the target, since most close range encounters leave you...dead. >=

Get any nice ranged weapon, except mech guns, unless you are uber with them and are patient. o_O

Coz my HUcaseal misses a lot with her lockgun(cant even find a varista with my RAmarl T-T), so I thought some of u here mite have find a way to fight it close ranged....

I beat it the first time in normal with a gigush at around lvl 25. just made sure to keep my HP at full all the time. and i was using a Hunewearl, which made it a little harder to stay alive

Damn... level 19. @_@

In my view, I don't think the Island stages and Seabed should be tackled until you're fairly comfortable in Ruins of the same difficulty level.

I agree with TeamPhalanx... I didn't consider Episode II safe territory until I completed Episode I with all the quests done.
Also, you don't ever want to stand still during the fight with Gal Gryphon. The second you do, it'll strike you down hard.

Movement and timing are critical, but aren't all that hard to learn. You've just got to stay back for a while and learn a boss's methods. Then just get your timing down pat so you move in an hammer them between assults. Oh, and distance is a good thing, more often then not.

Yah... I know I gotta find the boss's method.... I alrdy know all the episode 1's bosses well enough(played in DC ver).... but the thing is I couldnt find a BBA yet, so Im still playing offline, if not, I could just join an episode 2 team, and see how the teammates fight the episode 2 boss..... to b honest, for all the episode 2 bosses, I just stand there doing a turn-based-hitting-game on the boss(I hit the boss once, and it hit me once, then my turn again, etc etc)

Plus, HUnewearl is a bit easier than HUcaseal, altho the stat of a HUnewearl is higher, but they have resta, so about 100+ heal(mono/di/trifluid then mono/di/trimate) u can do in boss fight, but for android, we have to reserve our HP restoring items to the last minute, coz we only have 30 healing item at max(mono, di, Tri)

You can up that to 40 if you carry Star Atomizers, ne?
