View Full Version : I think I'm ready to come back to PSU, but I've got question

It's been about 6 months since I last signed into PSU. I guess I got slightly burnt out and busy with other things so I canceled my account. Now, for reasons that aren't clear to me, I'm experiencing some nostalgia for the online hijinx of PSU. I'm not quite sure how the community has changed since then. Do you guys think it will be difficult for me to get established again, considering my characters are probably erased and I'll be starting from scratch? Are there still places to find low level parties and friendly people these days? Thanks.

Probably. There aren't many low level people, though people who make alts will probably party with you. At least on PS2/PC, money shouldn't be too much of a problem once you get your shop, as the economy is still heavily inflated. I hear there aren't many mid level players left, so you may have a problem there. But, I don't hear much complaints from them, so it must not be too bad.

6 months? Your characters are probably still around lol. A lot of people are bored and are running with their alts. "Her Secret Mission" nets you a lot of MP/Meseta. Heck, you should even be able to find a lot of cheap melee weapons (class dependent of course). All in all, you should be fine http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the info. I'm on the 360 BTW. How has that version fared over the months? Do there seem to be many new players coming to the game these days or is it mostly the hardcore veterans still playing?

I think the 360 version is holding strong and there always seems to be new players. Some long time players are leaving being tired of the grind, seeing nothing for hours of work but nothing new there. AoI should bring some of them back. I think the true hardcore players will always be there until the servers shut down or they unlock the achievement, "Three rings of death. " So far I have unlocked that on two 360's. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

hsm might not be the most entertaining mission around but it doesn't stop people from going there or change the fact that nit is good money/mission points, I go on my alts to class up, I am always finding the new people there and lend a helping hand, if you need help I got a 81, 46, 22 and a 15, Gt is gryphon vii, If i have time ( I have school) I'll try and help

Heavy inflated? No. A lot of misguided people over-pricing things, yes. Haxeta exists, but it's not abundant. I don't know where you got that idea, Levia.

I hate to say it (Since I never did before) But the PS2/ PC servers SUCK now.

It's very hard to find a party in anything EXCEPT the hotspot, and even now, the hot spot isn't so hot.

Lame as crap, and it makes me sad.

I read here on PSOW about the "360" team designating 15 as their official universe. As a 360 player, should I join this team and do they still play on 15?

I belive so not certain I play on 360 and tend to stick too uni 1 with either of my high levels or uni 2 with my low levels.

Just seems to be more lower level folks running on uni 2.
