I miss the old rare weapons >=(

seems soon as i log on to antarest 8 and join a game...everyone has some really good weapon....the past few days i've put my damned 0% red sword to rest and whipped out my old last survivor for some gigles with 50% native+35%hit damn is it bringing back some more fun to the game. im a little upset seeing all these super rares out. i mean ther's a lot of cool not so super rares like the cross scars etc. anyone else disliking the mass amounts of damn BKB's and POL's =( because i am.

but then whats the sense wasting time into some people who wield their obviously duped super rares and on top of that laugh at you that you use your 'weak' (but self-found legit) >insert your fav. selffound-rare here<.

there seem to be too many morons out there to actually have fun with never-met-before-players...

I remember the only rare weapons I had were a Double Sabre, Twin Psychoguns, and an H&S Justy.

Now I have two H&S's, 2 Vise's, 2 varista's, and 1 musashi. I think the rare drop ratio has increased...just a tad though.

what level are you? i had found 3 sets of yamaots and like 20 dragon slayers by the time i reached ulty in gc pso the with sedynex930

yeah it really sucks, but there isn't much you can really do, unless you just stick with people that you know, but that's not really the point of PSO. ANyway, they just look cool, but keep in mind that they are TERRIBLE weapons, it's a shame, a fully grinded PoL is weaker than a non grinded Cudgel.

While I DON'T miss my Last Survivor 40% abeast, I DO hate seeing all those BKBs and Lavis crap out there. The only thing you can do is stick with your friends or make game names like 'legitsonlyplease' and hope that people can read.

BTW Zanba and POL suck the biggest ass known to mankind. Why do people even bother showing them off??

It's nice that it's easier to find stuff. I remember in DC ver2 with my RAmar, that by the time I was lvl 130 the only ver2 rare I had that I could use was a red handgun. Nothing else. I had an AA rifle as a gift, but I never found anything else. Now I'll at least have a chance to use something besides a freakin Red Handgun.

Haha you're probably right. I did see a game last night that said 'legitonlynokidsplz'. I wonder how that worked out? I wanted to join but the game was full. Putting stuff like that on Vega WILL get you taunted and laughed at. But I'm hoping the mass of ignorant players still hasn't spread too far into Antares 8...

The first set of weapons I mentioned were on my V2 lvl 25 Johnny Blue, and the second set was on my V3 lvl 57 Siegfried, and he's only on hard ruins. I stil haven't found any D.Slayers yet, don't need 'em either, I'm a ranger. :unknown smiley:

Super rares are just eye candy. If you're looking for a powerful weapon, just find one with high stats. But power is not necessarily the reason you see these weapons. Remember that many people are new to PSO on the GC and weilding a super rare weapon offers them a chance to "show off" their shiny new weapon. I remember my early, naive days on the DC PSO when I was so excited when someone gave me a super rare weapon. I didn't care at the time if it was hacked or not. When I first whiped it out, someone on my team said "Oh that's obviously hacked". At the time, I didn't think anything of it. I was just happy to finally own a rare. Nowadays, most PSO vets probably don't whip out these types of weapons on a regular basis since they've "been there, done that".

well i remember those day's when a friend of mine on V1 had a heavens punisher and i was like.... Sweet!!! but then after seing everyone and there moms had one i thought nothing of it. but when i finnally learned my lesson on v2 only wep's i had were weps i found, twin brand 40% native, all my chain sawd's from 40-45%. and my red daggers 15% dark. man were those the days!
