Those male Partner Machines are funky. The first one--that IS a male one, right?--he reminds me a lot of the main character from Quest 64. Anyone remember that game?

The butler one is just out there. At times he reminds me of Freiza from DBZ, and at other times he reminds me of Robin Williams' character in Bicentennial Man. All the while I'm expecting him to bust out some wicked karate chop moves (because killer butlers are awesome).

You guys have NO idea how glad I am to see that we get a jukebox option in AoI. My Room is a nice song and all, but sometimes I want to hear something different while chilling in my pad.

It's a scale. It measures your character's height (Rp) and weight (Kv).

At first, I wasn't quite sure if this discussion on the gender of this PM was serious or a joke; hell, I'm kind of still questioning it, to be honest. No matter, I'm setting things straight. The PM in this image (http://illuminus.phantasystaruniverse.jp/image/about/myroom/ss_pm_01_large.jpg) and this wallpaper (http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/event/1st/image/wallpaper/wall_ss_12.jpg) is in fact male. His description on the official site reads atarashiku shounenkata machinery, which translates as "the new male-type machinery." So, uh... there you have it. Despite having a girly face and fingers and then wearing short shorts with no package to show for it, he still is male. But you guys are right, he does look awful feminine. Creepy.

I KNEW it! I had that feeling they were doing something similar to I, Me, My Strawberry Eggs (which I only know of through AMV Hell ... but they draw the guy like they would a woman, anatomy and all). Heck ... Bridget is kinda drawn that way too. Considering all the anime references in PSU, I wouldn't put it past them deliberately designing the PM as a tribute of sorts to either one.

I guess if we want to explain this with IC logic ... the lack of of a Submarine and Two Tenders (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/asr-21.htm) could either be due to GRM just not caring to make fully operational battlestatio--I mean, uh, partner machine androids. Either that or they could be tucking ... but nevertheless!

I really hope the Sword animation is faster. The fact that the sword only hits 3 targets makes it completely useless when pinned against the Spear. It angered me how badly they gimped the sword from PSO.


The least they could do is make it faster.


Edit: Yeah, in the part of Video 5 with the Boomba's in Neudaiz, the guy with the chainsawd seems to be swinging a tad faster.
