To commemorate the game's first year, Sonic Team has released 12 new wallpapers. The first one (and my personal favorite) is by the game's official illustrator, Mizuno, while (I think) the rest of the game's design team contributed the rest of them:

... Okay, this is a clear sign that I need some coffee and wake the heck up. That bottom left wallpaper? Out of the corner of my eye I thought that 410 PM chick was overfed to the max. Then I realized that wasn't her stomach, but His Floating Ballness </deja>

Still, these wallpapers are Festalicious. I think my favorite is the top right one, but I may be a little biased because I love 440s and their punk attitude.

I didn't mind the way the male PM looked from the magazine screenshot before, and I'm not annoyed because I'm phobic or dislike cross-dressing, but that bottom right illustration isn't even bishonen, it's just a female PM not wearing a dress... it's not even a little boy being cute, it's literally just a girl in shorts... I can just see them in the expansion now - * PM casts Foie * "Burn!! Tee hee hee hee (heart symbol)!" Oh god...

The Ethan and Co group one would be nicer if Karen's Face wasn't...BLAH! She looks like a Caveman with a blank HUH stare on her face. Maya next to her is the playful little seductress she always is. I like how Hyuga is even more of a primadonna. Ethan's a Pimp with his hoodie and his fists ready to fight. But Karen ruins that group shot.
