I just had this really insane thought. There aren't a lot of children books dealing problems a lot of children are facing in our modern era. Thus I propose we, FKLites, spearhead a global movement and kick up some ideas! Think of it as an humane service for the good of mankind (plus think of the tax write offs we can claim!)
Sometimes Mommies and Daddies don't love each other no mo'
[i]The premise of this colorful pop-up book details the turmoil some children face in dysfunctional families. Lot's of fun can be expected when daddy comes home drunk and mistakes mommy for a punching bag! This book follows the typical stages of divorce, arguing, child neglect, domestic (both verbal and physical abuse), divorce court, and joint custody (kidnapping's an optional chapter.)
Bobby Has Two Daddies Author Blue Dagger.
This heart filled story follows the trials of a young Bobby Pouerdendurt as he copes with the challenges of having two daddies! It isn't till the end that we learn just exactly HOW Bobby has two daddies!
Bobby has Three Daddies Author Uncle_Bob
Once again Mr Pouerdendurt (now older) faces a unique problem. Just how do you go about telling your friends that you belong to a Islmaic household that practices Judaism and allows for polygamy...and that your fathers other wives are male! Fun times are had when Mr. Pouerdendurt invites his girlfriend over for dinner!
Timmy's Experience at Band-Camp Author Uncle_Bob
Timmy (yeah, the guy from South Park) finds himself in Band-Camp with a questionable instructor. What's wrong with this guy...for starters he photographs all of his pupils...in the nude. Will Timmy end up seeing the wrong end of the shaft before Kenny does!?-Wait a minute...wasn't this a REAL episode of South Park.
