to many Bs is not the issue here, the issue is the steps taken between the lines

A+B)(A-B)=B(A-B)
(A+B)=B so a+b=b

I canceled out the (A-B) on both sides. the thing is, if a=b then a-b=0 So i did 0/0

I devided by zero, that is the issue.

look at the "suppose" part at the beginning, if a=b and b=/=0 then a=/=0

a-b=-b or b-b=-b or 1b-1b=-1b
0=-1

the whole point of this equation is that is is fucked up, but not in a sense most people would catch (dividing by zero.) The whole thing is a mathematical joke, which is why there's a wacko o begin with!

I'm not positive but I think the line that may be throwing you off is "if a=b then a+b=b or b+b=b or 2b=1b" when I said "a=b" in that instance, it was to justify turning the a into b in the equasion a+b=b
