PSU: I'm Finally Online!!!!

I'm finally able to play online with the rest of you guys!!!! The sad part is that I don't have a keyboard so I will be a slow typer until I get one =( . Anyway I think I will do some solo runs today and meet up with anybody that wants to play tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a key board by then. Seeya!!!

Yea I'm on PS2. I named my character after my self. His name is Victor Flores Jr. Human Hunter(I love hunter but want to get figunner and fotefighter).

Haha,it's not gonna matter if we look the same or not,it happens all the time. Even though, like all the other players, I take great pride in my characters appearance.

Really,it's just good to hear another new PC/PS2 player.

Thanks guys! I really glad I started to play online now that a lot of cool stuff is available here. I was getting bored with offline play. I actually log in about 300+ hours of play on two mem cards with all four characters each. Yea I'm that bored.

DEFINATELY controllers. KB is just awkward and if you have any signs of arthritis or carpal tunnels, I highly recommend not using KB at ALL.

Depends on the person. Some people claim they like kb better,others prefer they comfort the feel with controller.

I prefer controller,and when I feel like it,I play with an arcade stick. Yes. An arcade stick. I can't use the camera but I'm usually soloing anyway when I use it.

I have a custom left-hand setup for my Keyboard, I can't use a controller AT ALL, I've tried Basi's.

However, people who've tried to use my keyboard for PSU usually end up stomping off frustrated 'cause they're usually right handed. XD

AArrrgggh. I keep dying during the plain overlord mission c rank. Can anybody help need high level characters to own the dragon for me. Again I don't have a keyboard yet so if I type slow I'm sorry. Help.

I used to use the arrow keys to move and the wasd to attack back when I played PSOBB, but the fact that you couldn't control your character with menus open when you did that made me switch back. I have no problem doing standard keyboard controls for PSU.

My only complaint with the controls is that my menu controls are weird. "." is pallette " ' " is up, "/" is down, ';' is right, and L is left. Lol.

Yeah it was easy to just swap WASD for UDLR in PSOBB but swapping isn't easy here ;p

So I just didn't bother. Plus it feels natural enough for me... moreso than a controller would ;P

Actually this makes me think of something I read in my Public Speaking textbook... it was about a university study on left-handedness. They say that you can tell if you're truly right-handed or if you were born lefty and raised righty, based on which hand you use for certain second-nature actions like holding a broom or clasping your hands together.

Oddly, for both of those, it suggests my dominant hand is my right, yet I write and do everything else with my left. /shrug.

I do most everything with my right hand, but I can't write at all with it. My hand writing for my left isn't too much better. I'm really ambidextrous, but I'm definetly sub-par with both hands, haha.

Oh well. I'm good with my mouth.
