What keeps you going? You have to admit PSU is one of the most repetative game, you grind like crazy to get what you want, you cap as fast as you can, etc and for what? What makes you continue to torture yourself??

Friends for me as well.

As well as a lovely excuse for blowing off homework

'Can't Mom, I'm killing Goshins on Neudaiz with my +7 Shintsuki Zashic trying to find a Deva Zashi to synth as Light so I can show it off and be cool! Besides, the experience will help me level so I can catch up to everybody and not feel like such a noob!'

Playing an MMO alone would have been a sad thing which is why I have very good amounts of friends to be with. I was able to make friends, some closer than others and they're what ties me to this game.

I don't. I play when there's something to do. Like, I'll start playing when my character can level again. But on that note, if one of my RL friends started playing, I'd make an alt just to play with them.

Like everyone said, friends. Sometimes I just hang around the Colony to hear what people has to say about the game. Either that or go find some rarez that my friends want. I kinda just do favors on PSU nowdays.

FRIENDS!

This last night of Bico Hunting we just stopped. We sat around on foran falls and shot the shit and loled about life school work everything. Forgot about the Bicos and the Jaos and hung out.

Friends keep the game going. Otherwise i'd quit today if i had no one to party with.

It's a game I don't have to spend countless hours developing "l337 h4xx0rz skillz" to enjoy, and I can get into it as much or as little as I want, so it entertains and relieves my stress.

Ok friends also I dont think the game gets that repetetive as long as you varies your missions a little. A lot od runs in one place and then instead of continuing your runs there go and run for ecample on another mission. I also think the game i plain fun. Love the battle system, the enemies, bosses, chat system. so for me its the whole games that keeps me ticking. Cant wait for the expansion http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.

Cooperative play to which the gamming world has precious few. I love cooperative gamming something ferious. That and this is the closest relative to beatuful pso...which made me relieve the touch... the feel of dreamcast. The best gamming of our livvves.

Friends, and time consumption that's fun and productive (in the game itself, at least).

i don't have all 50% wepz

i don't have all 50% armour

i don't have all the slot units i need

i don't have all the s-ranx i want

i haven't lvled all the techniques i use

i realize that we play 2 missions mainly by choice

and i am forming a clan to leave that idea in the dust.

this game is huge and not repetative, play a different mission.

i have 1 character slot that isn't lvl 90, and i might have to start it over cuz cast females have horrible luck.

I would have to say the whole community. The random spam fest, people making gag characters like Captain Planet, the peeps I see and do missions with, and the local crazy.

For the special item I get for already playing PSU when the new game rolls around...

Hmmm, lemme see. Friends are important, but most of mine play WoW. I actually LIKE PSU's gameplay, and compared to other Online RPGs, I feel that I have the most options with customization and combat styles here. It's surprisingly hard to find a Sci-fi Online game where I can kick ass without a gun AND wear whatever clothing I think is cool. Not much in this game feels like an afterthought. People can complain about repetition all they want, but if that's the case, then I suppose there are Online experiences that ALWAYS feel new and refreshing (If someone mentions WoW, they will be laughed at http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif).

And besides, I can create a Black character in 3 of the 4 races. Which was one of the things that upset me about PSO; you couldn't create a Black HUmar (trust me, I tried).

Mostly friends. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Somewhat areas, bosses, and customizing my character.

Friends / Community.
Hmm..~ things in the game I can still achieve.

AeraLure
Sep 14, 2007, 02:34 PM
Co-operative play, the love of the hunt, the fun of the gameplay, continued character improvement. Mostly those things kept me going. Sure, it can be a bit repetitive, but usually not enough to override the fun I had with it. I'd still be playing if it were not for the hacking issues December-ish.
