PSU: RARE WEAPONS!!!

[/b]HEY. I'M A NO0B to psu but i have played the crap out of pso. my quesion is, am i able to fine rare weapons in story mode and offine extra mode? i don't have access to online play.

Yes, it's just much, much easier and theres far less rares than in online.

If we classify "rare" weapons as being S-Ranks, you can buy some of them from the NPC stores after you complete Story Mode. Other S-Ranks include Dagger of Serafi (drop-only) and Svaltus Sword (you get the board as a mission reward).

I consider any class of weapon with elemental % of 40 ~50% as "rare."

IMO S-Rank weapons are more like "Uber-Rare" artifacts of myth and legend... sort of like the "Holy Grail" since it's nearly miracalous event to even get 1 rare weapon board to drop or it's synth to succeed. I'm sure others have vast experience with what I'm refering too.

Some people seem extremely lucky or something, while many don't have such divine luck.
It took me 3 1/2 months of solo hunting on either 1 star, 2 Star or 3 star luck days (human male's have *a lot* of 0 luck days >_< ) just to get 1 Black Heart extra unit...

i agree Because of the Very low drop rates but most S-ranks online are enemy drops although there hasent been many ppl to get Kan yu nor Psycho wand but IMO i thinks boss boxs are even rarer than item drops almost why everyone want a Solid power S. lol

There are no "rare" weapons in this game. Because if there were, you wouldn't be able to buy or sell them.

I'm new to the game, and only started playing last friday, but I think there are rares, just not in the PSO sense of the word. (IMHO my Tengok Bow I found yesterday would qualify)

Depends on your definition of rare. They'd definitely be rares in PSO. You can actually count anything other than a generic weapon as a rare, in the PSO sense of the word.

The only thing tht "buyable" in psu are basiclly anything thts around 1-9 stars that includes weapons too i mean sure if ur to find high stuff or S ranks in player shops u still have to work your ass off to make the money u need to buy them and by the time u actaully do have the money you might get beaten to the thing u want because some1s been saving up on the duped money they had. and im talking the stuff in npc and player shops shops btw

we cant buy any rare weapons.

if we find a cool S rank; but we cant use it; just discard it?

the best i've found off-line so far has been deathdancer (board) , a 8 star rifle, and a seven star rod but hey its somethin. its alot easier to find when you really know your monster and area drops, just like pso just rarer.
