MY first time on line. Ever.
Got out Storme, my level 40 HUmar, and set to work.
Then I had to shower, so I exitted.
"File Corrupt. Please Delete."
I don't normally beg, but I lost every thing.
Can anyone help me? Just post here and I'll find a ship block. I really need help. I'm thinking I might return thew modem and quit after this.

um... you also tried to start anew before you deleted the file, didnt you? sometimes its just that the contacts have a bad day or something so pulling out memcard / de- and repowering the cube might help in this cases...

edit: hey i dont blame you if you didnt tried, but returning everything... isnt this a bit harsh? ... well, after all, its your game/time/money...

*Hopes I'm not getting tricked here...*

Strome, are you here right now? If so, go online and go to Antares 08-01 and look for my hunter, a HUcaseal named Electrofina. She can give you some stuff.

BUT BEFORE YOU GO ON PSO... respond here so I know you're coming online. I don't wanna be standign around wasting my time.

*Again hopes he's not getting tricked*

When people level up like mad, it not that they don't have a life, it's something else... I mean, ever get more than one million exp in a day? I did that like ONCE during v2, and that was with a S-Rank NEEDLE. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

I don't believe that those that reached level 200 didn't have anything better to do, but rather they set a goal for themselves, and were determined to reach that goal.

It's just general society's view on hardcore gamers in general. "Anyone that spends their free time playing games is a total loser with too much time on their hands and has no life", etc etc... I've heard it all before, and I've come to the conclusion that mainstream society can go fvck a tree. I just ignore it whenever possible; few understand our wonderful little subculture.

Anyway, back to the topic... Lv40, yeah, it could be much worse. If you can get your hands on a decent mag, it'll be fairly easy to reach that level again in a relatively short period of time. Even without a souped up mag, it shouldn't be THAT bad... Still, I feel for ya. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I've lost a few characters on DC, that wasn't too fun...
There's something enjoyable about starting a character from scratch though.

It can be done... you just have to want to do it.

I have a job... working 5 days of the week... married. If I can do it so can anyone else.

Hell... to even make it easier on you... borrow a high level mag from someone. Unless of course you dont have any friends that play... then it sucks for you.

i live, therefor i have a life.
instead of "no life" say "nothing better to do"
because although i have 8 characters lvs 27-137
i most deffinatley have a life. I still spend alot of time with my real life friends.
I dont have school or a job to goto yet but i will someday, i'm just enjoying some time off before i go out and do the routine that is life (wake, school, work, sleep).
Everyone has their own reasons for being able to play as much as they want and theres NOTHING wrong with that. Besides, playing this game you get to meet some new people and learn new things while enjoying yourself and thats what life realy is all about.

Heh, if u want an example of nothing better to do, get this story. Ok, so i sit in front of my DC one day for a nice game of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 which was almost 100% complete (just missing a few costumes). I turn on my DC to hear the comforting, ear-shattering screech it always emits to find that all my unlocked characters are gone..my spirit dies there. Now I'm mad. I played that game over and over, by the end of the day, i had every character, every stage, and even every costume. Anyone who owns that game knows that is an accomplishment.
