i've played the NeverWinter Nights and their expansions numerous times. I have diamond Edition, though it's actually my second copy of the game (originally i just had the first and one of the expansions.)

In light of recent departures from the thread's topic, I believe it's time to reiterate my stance:
BALDURS GATE II HOLY SHIT

Maybe some Throne of Baal, too. Highly enjoyable.
Skip IWD (II was majorly disappointing, and if the original is anything like it's successor...)
PS:T is a fine diversion but, in my opinion, oft overrated (though undersold, of course).
Fallout is not D&D.

I'm leaning toward one of the Bard kits or a Swashbuckler.

I think I was a cleric, lol.
Would not recommend that unless you are hardcore into reloading practically every battle. My main chars always suck (fighter w/ 13 STR in BGI because I didn't realize how stats worked, umm).
One thing I did in ToB which was kind of awesome was to play multiplayer but give control of all characters to myself, so I got to make a completely custom party (otherwise you summon any NPC companion from the prev two games to form your party). I don't remember if you can do this with BGII, but that would let you make more than one dude if you can't decide.

Nah, I'm going Blade-type Bard with a specialty in Scimitars and Short-Bows and Single-Style weapon fighting.
