The Brutes, or "New Covenant" are after the Ark, a device which fires off all the halos at once.
Commander Keyes, Captain Keyes Daughter dies at the hand of the Prophet of Truth.
The Flood have evolved, and are now capable of speech.
The Flood help you on Act 8.
Cortana isn't crazy, but it cluttered with the thoughts of the Brave Mind, the head of the flood.
You have to go into the flood hive in order to get cortanna back. The hive is in the covenant's original capital city, High Charity.
Johnson dies at the hand of 313(or was it 314?) Guilty Spark, the monitor(flying blue ball) that appeared in Halo 1. Also known as the Oracle. He was killed because Johnson tried to fire Halo before it was finished. Also, there are two universes, one in which Halo can actually kill the flood instead of the other sentient beings in the Universe.
Final sequence is like driving sequence in Halo 1, but on steoroids.
Arbiter is fine, Elites end up helping you along with Marines.
Master Cheif is PRESUMED dead, as he and Arbiter both used a frigate to try and escape back to the other universe where Earth lies. However, the ship was ripped in half, and Master Cheif is basically floating around in space in a cryotube.

Yeah, the ending for the video was leaked, sure. But from what I've seen on youtube, no one decided to put down the scene afterwards.

All in all, anyone who has a 360 will definitely be surprised. Halo 3 was really friggin fun, AND I actually had to use my brain in most sequences...
I know...in a Halo game of all things! Definitely looking forward to Multiplayer on Tuesday.

I have only seen two commercials, once each, and played 2 onlinez, 1 only some 1 mission story and split screenin', but maybe mergin' things into the Halo topic could get annoying because of excited topic maker peeps making new topics about all sorts of gobbledygook.
