I need some ideas

Where could millions of zombies suddenly spawn from - whether they're original creations or living beings transformed.

The "experiment gone wrong" cancept is certainly out of the question, becuase that's already used by Resident Evil and probably many others in the generic-zombie-outbreak genre.

I was going to say it's been done, but I suppose there are no truly fresh ideas when it comes to zombies.

I miss the old days where zombies where things of magic and controlled my necromancers . . . now its all "scientific". Hell even Lycanthropy and vampirism is a "disease". Takes out all of the black magic nuassance it once used to have. No more contract with the devil, its now contracts with HMOs. -_-
