this might sound stupid but do you have to pay for PSU every month? how much is it? and if I do not wish to play anymore how do I cancel it so I don't get billed..kinda pointless to be billed for a game I'm not playing

Yeah it's $10 a month. idk how you cancel but when you do I think it deletes all your characters so if you decide to start playing again you'll have nothing. Not sure about that though.

After three months of inactivity, they can delete your chars, but the odds of that actually happening are pretty slim.

You cancel it by going to billing.playsega.com, and canceling your subscription there. You start your subscriptions the same way. And yes, SEGA reserves the right to delete your account after 3 months of non-subscription. That said, I haven't heard anyone get their characters deleted yet.
