I remember there was a mod for Earthbound. Of course, it was only for a rom. But what made it awesome is that it allowed you to edit the sprites in the game which was pretty neat.

Earthbound is a must play.
One of the best JRPGs ever. Great music, storyline, everything.
Some of the most memorable events of gaming happen in this game.
Wait until you get to the part where you have to meditate with Poo/Aziz/that one AZN dude.
And the final boss battle will make you shit bricks.

Yes, I just recently beat the game, but it wasn't my first time seeing Gigas, still, can be quite scary if you don't see it coming...

P.S. You cannot grasp the true form of Gigas" attack!

Its way deeper then it seems on the surface if you're willing to read into it. It'll make you think a lot if you let it.
