Ragnarok is only free on private servers.
And its A HELLUVA GRIND. It is pretty fun with peeps to play with tho.

Ugh. Ragnarok Online was really fucking awesome until you start PvPing, and realize that nothing you do in the game is as important as how many potions you have in your inventory ;_;

That being said, if FKL started playing Ragnarok Online I'd be there in a fucking second.

i felt the private server bit was implied.

as per being a grind fest, yeah, it is. but when you have some good friends to play with (and a good server with decent drop/exp rates) it can be quite fun and the grinding not so bad. You can still access a lot without having to grind to much.
