I didn't really think much about this when I first heard it, but I figure it's still worth mentioning. Some of you may recall mention last year of something called PSU Mobile. Basically, it's something that lets you access your game account with your cell phone. You can do things like check for recent news and updates in-game as well as manage your shop (among other things). Anyway, a new feature was added today. It's called Casino Volyale Poker. If the urge ever hits you to play Lumia (hey, you're too young to gamble!), Maya, Lou or Laia at poker, now's your chance!

EDIT: Forgot to add the important part. As you win hands at poker, you'll earn Vol Coins. These transfer over to your in-game VC account, allowing you to use them at Casino Volyale.

Huh. So more MMOs are getting into the meta-game idea?

I was first introduced to this from RO (like everything else); Gravity has a bunch of small adventure cell phone games you can play and then use to transfer zeny to your RO account.

Anyway ... Being able to manage our shops from our cell phones sounds awesome. I bet Lou would kill people at the poker mini-game. She's a master of the poker face.

This sounds like an awesome idea, I love the idea of shop-managing from anywhere. Nothing wrong with a little mobile poker either, that could actually help me out in-game.

I not sure how the US would be doing this even if this feature reaches us. Although we use cell phones on the day to day basis, we don't exactly use it like Japan or Korean. I don't think there would be in phone company in the US to take up the task of managing a thing like this.

Also, for Xbox360 users...it might be a problem knowing how Xbox Live has its own system of doing things....

There are like Eleventy hundred diffrent issues preventing it from being released here. We have a ton of a diffrent Carriers here, all with diffrent phone models. On top of that we seem to be a Step or two behind what japanese phones can do. The cell gaming market there seems pretty viable, with titles like in the MGS, Kingdom Hearts, and FF7 for examples. Here it's stuff like solitare and tetris.
