Help with DF in hard

How much damage do he give in his third form, my fomar hp is 209...it s not high enought, how much more needed for me to live his hits.

Last time I fought him he took off about 250 with his grantz or swipe. But the last time i fought him i was at about 61, so i figure my defense was a bit higher than what u have atm.

I had a level 50 HUmar when I fought him....he did enough that had to trimate, so that would mean it's more than 200.. But being a HUmar I have a better defence than a FOmar....so I'd say about 250 damage, and a ton of Trimates and scape dolls http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

The hand swipe, being a physical attack, is more dangerous than Grants because you can protect yourself against the Grants with light resistance units. I've tried using Jellen against Falz's 3rd form but that doesn't seem to lessen the damage from his arm. Try equiping multiple HP increasing units. Other than that, there is no other way to survive his arm unless you're a higher level.

I see but where could I get some "light resistance units"?
Online or offline. Oh my atm...hmm...well I use grands on him every time and take out over 200 first form, around 190 second form and over 200 third form. Is that good enought.
- I got a hucast lv 69 in v-hard 2, his hp is over 550 but atm is 1011...a yamato or something, that weapon is slow and I won't get to his dark3 so I'll use a weapon call " assassin something" , throwing blades I guess, could hit him from far.

The weakest one of all Light-resistance unit is the Resist/Light which give u like 5 on ELT.... and can b found in shop/any areas.... u can prolly find better one with ur VH HUcast, I alrdy found a few Resist/Holy in Hard(sold them, coz Im not going to DF yet)

as a fomar, for the 3rd form(what i did) was equip 2 light resists or a light resist and a resist/ all, then i had 5 scape goats(didnt use any) and just cured whenever he did a swipe on me or grants. ur best bet is light resist, or resist saints, whichever one adds 10+ to resist. then use fire when hes all shiny, and attack when hes not, i switched between gucci assassin blades and hildabear cane

Yes, Foie and Gifoie take their toll on him when he is in impervious mode (No damage from physical attacks). My then Lvl 49 RAmar was with a Lvl 33 HUcast, and really all we did was stick together. would heal/revive/foie/shoot, he would use is kick-ass grinded-to-death Musashi's and we do about 800 to 900 damage each time he came near us. Sure the soul link was annoying, but then again, I had Moon Atomizers http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif (Partner always got targeted). Key would be to carry di- and tri- of mates and fluids. Heal with Resta whenever possible instead of using mates, to do physical attacks as sparingly as possible (so as not to get swiped.) Since you're a FOrce, you'll want to stay away from the edge so you don't get swiped to death, and basically keep moving when he is. When he has stopped move in for the Foie assault.

Oh, and a few Resist/Saint or Holy wouldn't hurt either.

As a FoNewmn this is the tactics i use and i can useaully beat with little problem.

first form with the three heads
i use gizonde agianst the heads and it will arc to him as well works really fast if the dervants get to close i use rabarta a couple of times and they will die pretty quick then i resume the gizonde

second form
i use a combintaion of Rabarta when i can get close to him and grants when he is on the move this goes fairly quickly when he goes to do the Rafoie attack and the Gibarta attack move to the extreme side of him and they will useally miss and when he uses his grants attack run around after he slows you it will about 60% of the time miss if you do so

third form
This is a little harder stay on the outer most edge of the ring most of the time only come to the inner edge if he is on the oppisite side of the level. i use foie only here as it will hit him when he is invunarable as well and it has a quick casting time have three resist saints equiped that way his grants attack will only take about half your health then. as soon as you get up from that heal as he will sometimes be right there to do a phyiscal attack. keep this up and you will beat him fairly quickly

-How about my Hucast, I can't really do something when his far at his third form...what could I use [ weapon ] to kill him? and is 550hp enought for me to survive his attacks?

it should be however the battle will probally be a lot harder for you as a HUnter as you can only hit him about 1/4 of the time and if the 1/4 happens to be when he is on the other side of the ring your SOL
probally the best thing you can do is have a decent gun that you charecter can use perferably with a high Dark% and a lot of healing items and scape dolls

The best guns to use are those with a draw special. These types of guns will damage Falz even when he's flashing and invulnerable to other types of attacks. A rifle is a nice choice since it has great range and you can pretty much hit him from anywhere in the circle.

well when i played him as a lvl 39 HUcast, i had a mechgun (0/25/0/0/30) that i would use on his first forms. When his flying form rolled around, i used a lockgun with 30 to dark when he was long range, but when he came in close i used a musashi. i went through 10 mono and dimates, and a scape doll (died on purpose to save some of my remaining mates) before the sucker died. your best bet is probably melee, dont rely on guns as HUcasts dont really have high ATA at those earlier levels, use a gun when you have to run to DF to get into melee range. other than that, have a little luck http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

When I fought him I used Vulcans + 9 on his first 2 forms and used a Varista on his third. The Varista does a lot less damage than my Musashi + 35 or Vulcans could have done but the Musashi rarely get a chance to be used and the Vulcans are highly inaccurate. It took me a while, but the only time I died is when he did the thing when he flies in the air and shoots down all those balls of light, I got stuck on the wall and it made me stop running, and as most know stopping = dead.
