PC/PS2 server have had it removed for ages now yet 360 still has it in place. It is really starting to get quite frustrating.
Xbox360 PSU= PSU hard mode?
PC/PS2 PSU= Easy Mode http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated.

I found my first scape on an EP2 story mission on my 360, and haven't used it yet. Almost did in a Crimson Beast C run, but thank god I had Monomates...

Yea, but like half my random parties on xbox there is always 1 person that doesn't have scapes and manages to die -_-

Didn't they also slow down the S2 enemies on the PS2/PC side?

oh, and reason 360 users want the patch is so you can bring your NPCs with you, then use a moon, or giresta on them if they happen to die.

Yes, enemies are slower on the higher difficulties.

It was really only for the lazy techers who just stand still and spam techs; only rotating their camera to adjust firing angles.

Nobody else really benefited with it. Just gave the mobs an extra few seconds to live while they ran at us...

Yeah, NPC is what matters, when I solo I just forget about the rank because it is easier with TankTonnio and my healer PM but if their deaths didn't count then I could have some extra cash.

I would actually prefer to remove the death penalty for players, but retain it for NPC's. Really, it's so easy t abuse that on certain maps... just let them work for you with infinite respawns without any problem to the final score...

A death drops your final score at the end. Reviving or not.

PC, NPC deaths don't count, and as long as the player who died is revived before the boss is killed, it doesn't count.

hopefully the 1up cup will draw enough of xbox live's attention for them to throw us a fuckin bone.its been a few months already and still nothing so its probably a matter of time.if we dont get some kinda special "patch" before or during the cup,then Im gonna put my money on AoI.but some speculation says that we may get AoI updates during the cup,so the plot thickens....

for now,bring yer scapes to the cup and buckle up ya bootstraps cus its gonna be a rough ride

Not quite true, it doesn't count even if they aren't revived before the boss is killed, but it does count if they go back to the lobby before someone revives them.

There was no death penalty in firebreak missions, why should 1Up have it?

AOI will be a dashboard download, so Microsoft will have to approve it <.<

NPCs are dumb as hell for certain types of characters and its pretty necessary to have the no death penalty for NPCs.. Up to the point the no death penalty for NPCs was implemented, having an NPC as a non force character would be almost unfeasible if you wanted S rank...

A good example would be for gunners... they're mostly useless when you're just shooting. And even if the monsters come up close and try to attack you and you back off, generally they rather follow you than help you tank.

Like when me and my group go in and do a Dulk Fakis S or S2 (lord help us) for fun, we'd kinda like to be rewarded at the end too =( and not have to buy about 100k worth of scapes (on the S2)
