The expansion comes on two DVDs and it is recommended that you have 9 GB free when you install it. My "old" PSU folder is 5 GB.

Ambition of Illuminus is a stand-alone install. You do not need the original PSU to play it. In fact, after you install Ambition of Illuminus, the only reason to keep the original PSU install around is if you want to play as Ethan Waber or go through the old timed quests.

So it will install an entirely new folder. That's interesting... But then again, it's just like they did for PSO v 2.

So what happens if you try to go online with the old version? Do your online characters even appearin v1 if you have already been on AoI?

On the Japanese version, you have to register a special key before you can go online with Ambition of Illuminus. After I entered my key, I was no longer able to go online with my original PSU installation. As such, I doubt there is anyway to "go back."

Well what I meant was, say you already converted your characters over to AoI and you now had a yellow name. What would happen if you then try and log on the old v1? Would it even allow you to?

That makes me wonder if the US/EU versions will have CD keys...

Why would you go back to PSU after transferring to AoI?

Guy's let's try to get back on topic.
Anyway's I don't see it topping a gig for the Xbox, because you're not downloading the game engine, just some bit's of code and level geometry and a few models for charecter's and weapons. As for PC player's, what JP players are saying the size is is probibly how big it will be for PC. And I'm not sure how PS2 players will be affected (I don't own one, so I don't know what makes it tick, you're probibly just going to buy a expansion disk, which probibly has the full game in it, so you can use the original PSU as a shiny frisbie)

PS2/ PC is Disk and Xbox 360 is a Download....

I wish I could Rember How Big the Expantion...for Elder Scrolls 4 was/is...the madness island/area...I think it was/is Called Shivering isles.

Edit Just Found out that Shivering Isles was Shy Of 1 GB

You seem to be forgetting the music, audio, and FMV files. All of the NPC dialog from Episode 2 Story Mode now has an audio clip associated with it. Also, there are a few videos interspersed throughout the adventure (not the junky ones we saw in online mode).
