GC: my theory in increasin SPECIAL WEAPON drops(offline)

ive been doin this for a couple of days now and ive gotten alot of special weapons with it, well i dont expect evryone to believe me but here goes. To increase drop rate dont use telepipe or ryuker, just finish the area till you defeat the area boss, for ex. finish forest until u defeat dragon boss without pippin or usin ryuker to get bak to pioneer then quit and re-do the area again u should get 1-3 special weapon this way(dunno if it works on normal difficulty though havnt tried yet). Hmmmm...... maybe its just me but, it doesnt hurt to try.........Oh, and im usin a FoMar sec.id:pinkal

Sorry but I really don't think that's true.

I almost never cast Ryuker unless I'm specifically searching for a rare monster in a quest.

Some days I get a whole bunch of rare stuff, some days I'm lucky to find a power material. It's really just luck. Casting Ryuker or using a Telepipe doesn't seem to affect how often you find rare items.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but almost every single rare monster I've fought dropped what it was supposed to. (Meaning something in a red box.) I think only 5 or so haven't dropped red boxes...Mostly Pal Rappies searching for the True Agito.

I don't think this is true either...I never use a pipe unless I'm helping to level a friend or when I first try a boss. The whole time i've been in VH the only rares ive gotten are 2 Yamato, so, ya, ur just lucky

Only thing i get outta boxes are P Drops and amplifiers...both are super-duper items for an offline HUmar...

There was a myth about this in diablo 2 about not casting a town portal in the map because you'd get better mf drops and stuff. Dunno about this game, I'm only a CLvl 30 HUcast and I haven't been online yet =(. BTW, what exactly are the photon drops for? I've found 2 of them so far.

They're items that you use for currency in an online quest. Buying things with these can get you many rare rares.

i also remember this theory from Diablo 2, but on PSO it doesnt work, i casted none for 3 runs, and then casted them for 3, same items..

I would have to agree w/ it's all just luck. I've been playing PSO forever and seldomly use tp and I now, seldomly find rares. (offline, HUcast)(can't find a thing) I think the best thing I have found would be Soul Eater and I had to run through the quest and stuff to get it.
