Those DOOMs ain't half bad. But its more of the DOOM name that make 'em sell, ya know? There are some pretty fucking stylin customs out there. Anything by TTK is gold. Too bad he doesn't sell his shoes. ):

I can't understand spending a G on shoes or even half that(or another half of that! what is that, 250 now yeah, not a price I'm going near), whether they be customs, overseas exclusives, player editions or whatever.

For fans of Doom, they wouldn't have had a chance to buy them anyway since the campout reseller jerks scooped them all up and sold them for twice the price or more. the bubble probably burst sooner or later but these people will still try to sell them at BS overpriced rates even when there's no demand for them anymore. they weren't a wide enough release and it was a limited numbers thing to drive up prices and exclusivity.

Most people with what they call exclusive sneakers buy cheapo fakes from the smoke shop or whatever and don't know the difference.

I wouldn't spend a G on shoes either. The highest I'd probably spend is $150. The highest I've seen the DOOMs go for are 250 but I haven't really shopped around for them.

some black and purple ones and some black and blues ones in there that seem nice. Most I'm not particularly into. I don't like white on my shoes or bright colors unless it's minimal and contrasted on a black background. Bright and white just isn't my style. Black and bold, it's how I roll.

Shoes that are made with artist collaboration/logos whatever don't come around often and they usually are super high priced. Wu-Tang Killer Bees Dunk highs, Quasimoto Dunk high, Kanye West BAPE with the College Dropout bear on it; graffiti artists get to create shoes often, b-boy crews every once in a while.

The MC Shan Pumas (http://p087.ezboard.com/fniketalkfrm25.showMessage?topicID=4909.topic) are very nice even though I was too young to be a growing up in the 80's baby. Especially the samples. I was looking for them a little while after they dropped and couldn't find any good prices for my size, even though they're priced very well/correct some places.

Seen some people bringing back the big ass gold chains. No over the top Mr. T's yet though. ;o
